When you're a dog groomer, it hits different when you lose your own pet.. I learned this all too well after our pup Olli passed 2 years ago. I went to work the very next day and it was a huge mistake. I sobbed the entire day.. everything reminded me of him.

On Tuesday morning at 2am, we had to make the tough decision to put our first family pet to rest at the emergency hospital. Our entire bunch surrounded him with love as we said our goodbyes.

We made the decision to take yesterday and today off, to spend time with our family and heal a bit.

Our love for pets goes beyond our babies at home. This is why we love your pups like our own. We know the place they hold in your families heart and we never take that trust for granted. It's truly an honor.

While I know this pain isn't going to magically go away before we return to work- I know I need these couple days with my family. I'm giving myself patience and grace and that's something I haven't been great at in the past, after a similar situation.

Recently, we've had to make the tough decision to raise our prices.. While we know the economy is tight for everyone right now, we have no choice if we want to continue to survive and thrive as a business.

I want to send my deepest gratitude to my clients for understanding, sticking with us through the changes, and just being the best.

I don't take my job lightly.. When you bring your pup to our shop, I know you are handing over a piece of your heart, and a part of your family. This makes our job a huge blessing. It also makes it very hard when we lose a pup or a pup parent. Like I've always said, once you're pup is with us- you are now a part of our big ole family.

Today I received a message that one of my dear clients had passed away. It wasn't the pup but his parent. Someone I've had the privilege of seeing every 5 weeks the last 4 years.. to say I will miss their genuine smile and soul is a vast understatement. My heart aches for their family and all that had the honor of knowing them.

When you come to OH MY DOG Spa, you become family. It's so much more than us making your pups beautiful. We care about you and yours ❤️ Please send love to my beloved client and their family.

HUGE thank you to all our clients- not only for their patience during this holiday season but all the amazing and thoughtful cards/gifts/sweets we received from you all 🥹 You are just the best and we feel so spoiled by all of you!!

✨OH MY DOG Spa will be CLOSED from December 23rd through January 5th- while we take a much needed break but most importantly, get all the family time with our 6 beauties!! 💚❤️ We will get back to any messages when we return on January 5th!✨

Hello beautiful clients!
I'm late posting, but December 1st marked ONE year at our shop. I planned on doing an open house, but with my other half being out of the country, that never happened. I want to thank my clients for a successful first year. I wouldn't be where I am without your support, referrals, and understanding. I am indebted to all of you for believing in this small family business and making our dreams come true being able to work together everyday and being able to spoil all of your babies. Good morning beautiful clients of ours!

I kindly ask for patience as we enter our busiest time of year! Times may be longer than you are use to from us. My husband Ernesto has left the country for the next two weeks to visit family. He is my rock and I may be a little lost without him at home AND at the shop! ❤️

Our daughter Natalie will be joining me back at the shop while he's away to help out! So grateful for her!!
