🥊🐾Please give Rocky a chance! You may not remember so here is a short re-cap on this dude. He and his owner were traveling aimlessly from the state of WA headed to NC and ended up in Springfield, IL. His senior owner was experiencing mental health deficits and had somehow lost her identification, debit/credit cards and had no local resources. When WILD first met Rocky and his owner it was 100* and his owner wasn’t aware that keeping him under a tarp in the back of her truck parked on asphalt was ultimately going to kill him. Rocky was fortunate enough that his owner willingly surrendered him to WILD in order for him to find a safe and forever home while she was seeking help for herself.
Rocky is an absolute gem but…he is a gem with energy! He loves all people of all ages. He is housetrained, crate trained and loves long walks. Gets along great with other dogs of all sizes but needs to be fed separately in an effort to avoid resource guarding. He is 6’ish years old, neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and using preventatives. He respects a 4’ fence until he realizes he can jump it so…we prefer a 6’ fence OR…someone willing to monitor his outside time.
Rocky is begging for someone to give him a chance!

Rocky’s recap:
Housetrained/crate trained ✅
Loves other dogs and reptiles ✅
Neutered ✅
Microchipped/vaccinated ✅
Loves car rides ✅

🚑ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION! 🚑

We need your help!

Willow once had a loving home with eight other dogs. Sadly, her owner suddenly passed away, leaving no family members able to care for her pets. While the other purebred dogs were quickly taken in by other rescues, sweet Willow was left behind . WILD Canine Rescue could not let this loving girl be forgotten, so we stepped in to bring her into a safe, caring foster home.

💸Now, we need our amazing community to step up once again. Willow is one of our medical cases for 2026. Her required treatment is estimated at $2000 to address a severe skin infection (the smell is 100% worse than the pictures) and get her fully caught up on all necessary vetting.

Willow is generous, and any funds raised beyond her medical needs will go directly toward helping the next dog in need. Once her medical conditions are fully addressed, Willow will be ready to find her forever home.

We are only able to say "YES" to dogs like Willow because of supporters like you who continue to donate, share, and stand behind our mission. Please consider making a donation today to support Willow's recovery.
