We are so excited to announce the newest member of the WOW family.

Dr. Lauren Finke is a 2026 graduate from the UIUC College of Veterinary Medicine. While in veterinary school, Dr. Finke pursued special interests in canine and feline internal medicine and treatment of non-traditional pets, such as reptiles, rodents, and rabbits.

Before moving to Illinois for veterinary school, Dr. Finke grew up in the St. Louis area, where she eventually met her wife, Becca, and her stepson, Elliot. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Finke loves to spend time reading, crafting, and playing games with her family and friends.

Dr. Finke is very excited to be joining the White Oaks West family and can’t wait to care for our area families and pets!

Veterinary Reception Week is the perfect time to recognize the heart of our front desk!

These are the people who keep everything running smoothly while showing compassion to every client and patient who walks through our doors. They juggle busy schedules and hundreds of phone calls while also comforting worried pet parents, our receptionists truly do it all. We are incredibly lucky to have the very best, they always go above and beyond with kindness, patience, and a genuine love for both people and animals. We appreciate them more than words can say, not just this week, but every day.
