🔥 FIRE UPDATE 🔥
Thank you to everyone for your understanding, patience, and cooperation over these past few weeks as our community continues to navigate these devastating fires. So many in our community have been directly affected, from evacuations and displacement to the heartbreaking loss of homes and property, while countless others have been impacted indirectly.

Our hearts are with everyone who has experienced loss during this incredibly difficult time.

We are grateful to share that Spanish Springs Pet Resort remains safe and is operating normally.

Some of our staff members are still within GO NOW evacuation zones, and we continue to keep them, their families, and everyone affected by these fires in our thoughts and prayers. ❤️

🐾 Daycare and boarding services are available as usual, and reservations can be scheduled directly through your online account.

We are staffed, prepared, and continuing to closely monitor conditions should anything change. As always, the safety of the animals in our care and our team remains our highest priority. We will continue to post updates here as needed, but you can consider no news is good news! 🐾

🚨 HAWK FIRE UPDATE 🚨

Our facility remains SAFE and is currently outside of the evacuation zone. All dogs in our care are safe, and we remain fully staffed for the number of dogs currently on site.

Unfortunately, this round of evacuations is greatly affecting our team, with several staff members living in areas currently under go now evacuation orders.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are temporarily unable to accept any additional dogs, including evacuation dogs. We are limiting our capacity so we can continue maintaining safe staff-to-dog ratios and ensure we have enough personnel available to safely care for and evacuate every dog currently in our care should conditions change.

Our evacuation plan is ready. We have staff on standby, transportation available, and a sister facility prepared to receive our dogs should evacuation become necessary.

📞 PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE FACILITY FOR FIRE UPDATES AT THIS TIME.

We only have one main phone line, and keeping it available is extremely important so we can communicate directly with the owners of dogs currently in our care and coordinate with our team as conditions change.

If evacuation of our facility becomes necessary, owners will be contacted and we will provide updates as soon as the dogs have been safely transported.

We know many families in our community are facing an incredibly stressful night, and we truly wish we could accommodate additional evacuation dogs. At this time, however, our responsibility is to maintain safe staffing levels and prioritize the dogs already entrusted to our care.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our community, our staff and their families, our first responders, and everyone affected by the HAWK Fire and evacuations. ❤️ We are praying for everyone’s safety and for the crews working to protect our community.

🔥 FIRE UPDATE

We’ve received several calls about the nearby fire and want to reassure our clients.

Our facility remains outside all evacuation and warning zones. We are safe, open, and operating normally. There is currently no need to change reservations or pick up your dog early.

We are closely monitoring official updates and current evacuation zones as conditions continue to develop.

❤️ A NOTE TO OUR COMMUNITY

We have received many requests to shelter animals displaced by the fire and have taken on all that we can safely accommodate at this time. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept additional emergency sheltering requests. We truly wish we could help everyone, but we must maintain appropriate space, staffing, transportation, and resources for the animals in our care.

Our regular services and reservations continue as normal.

🐾 WE ARE PREPARED

The safety of every dog is our highest priority. Our team has established and regularly practices emergency evacuation procedures so we are trained and prepared to act quickly if needed.

🚨 IF AN EVACUATION BECOMES NECESSARY

Our priority will be safely evacuating and accounting for every dog in our care.

During an active evacuation, please do not call or text the facility. If it is safe and permitted to do so, please come directly to the facility to pick up your pup. Our staff will reunite dogs with their families as quickly and safely as possible while continuing evacuation efforts.

We will communicate updates and any additional instructions through our social media as circumstances allow.
