2025 was a year full of high highs and some really low lows. I feel like I have grown a lot as a rider and horse owner, and I’ve gone through a lot of experiences that I would consider to be ‘character building’ (as Adrienne would say). Some highlights from the year include:

-Sophie and I completing our first 2*
-Getting back to a few FEI’s and some of our favorite venues, including Morven (twice!)
-Spending so much time supporting area 1 events both by competing & coaching
-Watching my own students & so many riders around me achieve riding goals
-Spending a week in VA with the crew at CVF
-Adding Reese to team Sophie & watching her develop into a super groom
-And of course, no new broken bones 🥳

I’m not sure what next season looks like for Sophie & I, but right now she has a light winter ahead of her and I am determined to continue working to get my best girl feeling her best. I am excited to focus on my students and their 2026 goals, ride more horses, and to be involved in supporting the Area 1 YR program 🙌
