Tail wags and zoomies took over at Patriot Heating and Cooling Services Inc. yesterday as we brought out some adoptable pups who helped kick off the staff's day with a dose of puppy love before they hit the road.

We love connecting with businesses that care about their people and pets, and Lola (Terrier Mix), Maggie (Black/White), and Misty (Black/Brown/White) couldn’t agree more.

Thank you to Patriot Heating and Cooling Services for welcoming us. We’re excited about this new partnership and what it will mean for the animals in our care.

🎙️ A BIG appearance at Nightmare on Chicago Street!

Anderson Humane CEO Dean Daubert stopped by WRMN 1410 Radio during Nightmare on Chicago Street with a very special guest — adoptable Big Boy!

While the streets were filled with spooky festivities, Big Boy stole the spotlight and helped spread the word about Anderson Humane and the importance of finding loving homes for animals in need.

🦊 Wild Neighbors: The Red Fox🍂

Sneaky, stunning, and right in our own backyard! 🐾

With their fiery red coats, bushy tails, and incredible senses, red foxes are some of our most fascinating wild neighbors. These clever creatures play an important role in keeping our ecosystems balanced by helping control rodent populations.

While they may be curious, red foxes are generally shy and prefer to keep their distance from people. The best way to appreciate them? Give them space, admire them from afar, and let them stay wild! ❤️

🌿 Being a good neighbor to wildlife starts with understanding them!

🚨 Found a red fox that appears injured, sick, or in need of help? Keep a safe distance and don't attempt to handle it. Contact Anderson Humane's Wildlife Center at (847) 697-2880 ext. 25 or email [email protected]. Our wildlife team can help guide you on the next steps.

🦊 Want to learn more about our wild neighbors and Anderson Humane's wildlife rehabilitation and education programs? Visit https://ahconnects.org/wildlife/.
