Forgotten Dogs Rescue Forgotten Dogs Rescue is a foster based nonprofit rescuing homeless dogs in Washington State.

Forgotten Dogs is a foster home based rescue organization located in the Tri-Cities and Seattle areas of Washington State. While Forgotten Dogs will take in any breed, we primarily rescue Pit Bull type dogs and mixes and other bully breeds. We focus on rescuing dogs from shelters, especially in Eastern Washington. ​

ogs who have lost all hope—the forgotten dogs. Our Commitment
Once a dog enters the Forgotten Dogs Rescue program, we are committed to it for life. Our dogs live in private foster homes where they receive love, training, and learn to be members of the family. They receive all necessary medical care, and if they come to us with behavioral issues, we invest in training. We are committed to do whatever is necessary to help them become adoptable and find them amazing forever homes. And if at any point an adoption doesn’t work out, we will always welcome the dog back into our program. We make a promise to all of our dogs that they will never again be forgotten.

Rocky is proof that you don't need 20/20 vision to see why he's the perfect fit for you 🤓
His visual impairment doesn’t slow him down, it just makes him extra special, extra sweet, and extra determined to love his person with everything he’s got. He's endlessly brave, goofy, soft, and always funny.

Rocky will thrive in a home with a family and other canine companion that are willing to help show him the ropes and be a little understanding if he misses a social cue, but he is the best addition to any household. Tink is offering lessons on how to master perfect puppy dog eyes because she CLEARLY is the expert 🦋🎀

She has that soft, expressive look that could convince even the busiest human to stop what they’re doing and go outside, which, to be fair, is her favorite part of the day anyway. She wakes up with a plan, and that plan is always “let’s go on an adventure”

Tink will politely (but very seriously) remind you when it’s walk time. Paw taps, full‑body wiggles, and a sprint to the door so there’s absolutely no confusion about the schedule. Once it's overs though? World class cuddle bug.

She’s expressive, silly, talkative in the cutest way, and absolutely knows how to entertain herself with toys and stuffies when she’s feeling playful. Meet Turnip! ❤️ This sweet little potato is the newest member of our rescue family, arriving from one of our shelter partners in Eastern Washington.

Turnip settled in immediately and has been busy doing what Frenchies do best: collecting pets, making people laugh, and being adorable.

When she arrived, she appeared healthy, but during her intake exam with our primary veterinarian, a few concerns were noted. Her pupils are different sizes, and she is exhibiting nystagmus (involuntary eye movements). Oof.

The good news? Turnip is stable, comfortable, and as happy as a clam... or should we say, as happy as a Turnip.

To make sure we get answers, we're scheduling her with a veterinary neurology specialist for a full evaluation. We don't know exactly what's causing these symptoms yet, but we're committed to getting to the bottom of it and making sure she gets whatever care she needs.

In the meantime, Turnip is living her best life, running around, soaking up attention, and charming everyone she meets.

🐸💛 Toad appreciation post 💛🐸

We know we've said it before, but... just LOOK at this guy.

How can one little dog have so many facial expressions? Every photo looks like he's telling someone to get off his lawn, is questioning our life choices or wants to know why snacks are late.

The best part? None of it matches his personality.

Behind that serious little mug is one of the sweetest, happiest, silliest dogs you'll ever meet. Toad loves his people, loves making new friends, and keeps us laughing every single day.

We're also happy to report that we're continuing to see some mild progress with his IBD. It's still a work in progress, but we're moving in the right direction, and that's worth celebrating.

In the meantime, Toad will continue his important work of being adorable, ridiculous, and impossibly expressive.

Honestly, we could post Toad every day and not run out of photos of this mug.
