Tammy has decided, with some unsolicited encouragement from the judge, 😂😂 to enter him in the NADD event they are having tomorrow!!

Well, well, well… looks like the Fair Dinkum girls are not the only ones making waves this weekend. 💦

We just got a video from Tammy, Cooper’s mom, and Cooper got **six minutes on the dock today** at their cluster trial.

Cooper has had some swim classes, but this was his **first time at a real dock diving event** — and apparently he had one thing to say:

**“Hold my bone and watch this.”** 🦴😂

This boy has been training for agility, so he already knows how to work, think, and use that athletic little terrier body. But today? He decided to add dock diving to his résumé.

Three incredible jumps later, it is safe to say Cooper understood the assignment.

And yes, like many of these lean, low-body-fat little athletes, swimming takes some effort — so a life vest is definitely in his future. But did that stop him?

Absolutely not.

The confidence, the drive, the joy — all of it was right there on the dock.

We are so proud of Cooper and Tammy! There is just something extra special about watching these Fair Dinkum kids discover what they love and then throw their whole terrier heart into it.

The girls better watch out… Cooper is coming for dock dog glory. 💦🐾

While Vivian, Bailey Shark, and Scarlett were busy making a splash on the West Coast this weekend at the High Desert Summer Luau, they were apparently **not** the only Team Fair Dinkum girls with water on the brain. 💦

Over on the East Coast, DILLI decided she had better remind her sisters that dock diving is not just a California sport.

And, well… she got it done.

This weekend, DILLI earned her **Masters title in Distance** with jumps of:

12’3”
13’6”
13’6”
13’0”

Because apparently one big jump was not enough. She needed to make sure everyone understood the assignment. 😂

And then, just to show off a little more, she also earned her **Senior title in Hydro Dash!**

We are so proud of this smart, spicy, athletic little Fair Dinkum girl. DILLI has always had that wonderful terrier combination of drive, confidence, and “excuse me, I have a job to do” attitude — and it is so much fun watching her put it to work.

So while her West Coast sisters were splashing around in luau style, DILLI was on the East Coast saying:

“Cute. Now watch this.”

Congratulations to DILLI and her family on a fantastic weekend! Team Fair Dinkum is making waves from coast to coast. 🌊🐾

Some dogs leap gracefully.

Vivian prefers to launch herself into the air, grab the bumper before it has technically been thrown, and leave the humans to sort out the details. 😂

Huge thank you to Bob for catching this ridiculous and wonderful moment at the High Desert Dog Sports 2026 Summer Luau.

April had kindly joined me on the dock to help hold Vivian back while I tossed the bumper… but Vivian had other plans. In true Jack Russell Terrier fashion, she decided the bumper was fair game **right now**, thank you very much.

And this is such a perfect little snapshot of what makes dock diving click for a lot of Jack Russell Terriers.

They are not naturally “water dogs” in the way some breeds are. But they *are* driven, clever, athletic little hunting terriers with a whole lot of prey drive. Build enough value in the bumper, make the game fun, and suddenly that bumper becomes the thing they are willing to fly, swim, splash, and launch themselves after.

For Vivian, the water is just the obstacle between her and the prize.

Ready… set… already got it. 🌺💦 😂

Yesterday at the NADD Summer Luau at High Desert Dog Sports, Scarlett Rose had what looks like her official **Lion King moment**…

…but what was really happening was much simpler and much sweeter. Derrin was helping keep her calm between jumps, and I was telling her how proud I was of her. 🌺🌊

We had no idea Bob — Bailey Shark’s dad — was taking the photo, but somehow he caught the whole feeling of the moment.

Scarlett is still young, still learning, and still figuring out how to manage all that excitement on competition day, but she is getting braver, more confident, and more focused every time she steps onto the dock.

We are so proud of this little girl. Tiny terrier, big feelings, and the biggest heart. 👑🐾

Ready, Set… **behold Scarlett Rose!** 💦
