CANE CORSO… OR CANE SOSO? 👀

When I bought my first Cane Corso, I loved the dog, but I didn’t truly know the breed. That became my first lesson about the breed.

Years later, I understand that owning, breeding, and preserving the Cane Corso requires more than papers, size, or a certain look. You have to know the breed standard and understand correct head type, body structure, movement, and temperament.

First off, no dog is perfect when measured against the breed standard. But abandon the standard, and you abandon the breed.

In our last year of naming litters after classic hip-hop albums, we present The Art of War Litter — Quintina Custodi Nos × Fedor Custodi Nos. 8 males and 4 females.

The puppies are growing and maturing nicely! Their dewclaws have been removed, their tails were docked at the fourth vertebra, and they’ve received four rounds of deworming and their first round of vaccinations.

This week, everyone who placed a deposit to reserve a puppy will make their puppy picks. We still have a few reservation spots available. DM if you’re interested in reserving a puppy.

I first learned of the Cane Corso about 12 years ago. I began researching the breed and really fell in love with its traits, its qualities, and what it stood for and represented.

That led to me wanting one. Almost nine years ago, I acquired my first Cane Corso. Not long after, I knew I wanted to do more than own one. I wanted to contribute to the breed, so I started my breeding program.

I began studying the breed seriously. The standard look. Head type. Structure. Correct temperament. Drive. Size.

I started importing high-quality Cane Corsos from world-renowned kennels and building my bloodline with purpose.

Today, I’m proud to say Thoroughbred Cane Corso is America’s trusted Cane Corso breeder. We have countless Corsos across the nation in over 25 states, with several internationally in Canada and Mexico.
