Great news for ARRP participants!
The Arabian Recreational Riding Program now recognizes eligible in-hand and groundwork activities as part of your logged hours.
We know that building a partnership with your horse doesn't only happen in the saddle. Many horse owners spend valuable time developing skills, communication, and confidence through in-hand training and competition, and now that time can count, too.
Eligible activities include:
• Liberty Work
• In-Hand Trail
• Ground Obstacle Training
• Showmanship
• In-Hand Classes at Open Shows
To qualify, activities must involve intentional training or competition with your horse.
Please note that routine care and management activities—such as grooming, brushing, hand grazing, turnout, and general handling—do not qualify for logged hours.
Whether you're preparing for the show ring, working through obstacles, or strengthening your connection with your horse from the ground, ARRP now recognizes even more ways to participate and be rewarded for your time and dedication.
