Why do dogs behave aggressively, and how can we help?
Join Mike Shikashio, CDBC (Michael Shikashio), on Sept. 17 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the San José Animal Care Center for Understanding & Working With Dog Aggression, a practical, easy-to-understand session for the general public.
Through real-world examples and video, Mike will break down the emotions, body language, medical factors, and motivations that can contribute to aggression, along with straightforward ways to help dogs and their guardians.
In addition to this public workshop, Mike will also be providing more in-depth aggression and handling training exclusively for our shelter staff. We are excited to bring his expertise to our team and our community.
Mike is the founder of AggressiveDog.com, creator of the Aggression in Dogs Master Course, and host of The Bitey End of the Dog podcast. He has spent his career specializing in complex aggression cases and educating dog professionals and guardians around the world.
