Sorry guys I forgot to put the website up for the fly masks. It's Chick's Saddlery

Ok here are the fly masks that we really need to replace the ones that were lost in the fire. The Lycra ones we need both horse, cob and large horse size ( you can pick any color lol) the crusader draft masks only come in grey but they're a good mask🙂 If you have a specific horse that you'd like to donate a mask to, we'd be happy to post pictures of that horse with the donated mask❤️ Horses like Gremlin need a cob size, horses like Rose or Mr B need horse size and horses like Trwyn ( Troo-in) need a large horse size.

Our dear sweet red fireball Ally

Sorry I know this is a long post

One of the hardest decisions for anyone who has animals is to put them down. We have said before that it's a decision that we never take lightly and we try everything we can before we have to make that decision. Ally was a very hard decision because she was so full of life and had energy that wouldn't quit. That's what made it so hard because how do you make that tough call which you know it needs to be done but she herself wasn't ready.....A few months ago Ally wasn't able to hold weight no matter what we did so we took her to the vet and of course they ran a bunch of tests and while her numbers came back fine we all knew there was something wrong. Personality wise she was absolutely fine, a ball of energy. Muscle wise, she was well defined. However after another visit and more tests we found out Ally had cancer. The vet told us to take her home and let her have some time of being spoiled and when needed they would come out and help her cross the rainbow bridge 🌈. Ally had been about the same, eating, drinking, full of energy and so we let her be her fiery self. When she started to eat less and less we knew it was time. The vet agreed it was time but Ally the fireball, the one that would run all the way from the back fields to the barn if she even thought you might have food. She was full of life and such a happy girl and we talked long and hard about this but her body was failing her from the inside out and that wasn't going to be fair to her. We helped her peacefully cross the rainbow bridge and even though we know we did right by her and the vet said it was the right decision. It breaks your heart when you have to make it even when they mentally don't know they're losing a physical battle. We wanted to honor her with a picture of her in her prime before the cancer. She's free now and not sick anymore, she's earned her wings and knowing her she's soaring with them being a guardian angel to other horses in need. Fly free sweet Ally we miss you so much💔💔💔🪽

I don't know who's heard or hasn't heard about the horrific stabbing of 3 horses at the NBHA Vegas Super Show. Thankfully the horses are all recovering ( one is still at the vet clinic due to having to have surgery from injuries). Our thoughts and prayers go out to the owners of these horses and for continued healing of the horses❤️
