VT-CAN! may be located in Washington County, but the impact reaches far beyond Middlesex.

Between January and May 2026 alone, more than 1,000 owned pets received affordable spay/neuter services through VT-CAN!

Families traveled from across Vermont to access care for the pets they love. Every number on this map represents a pet receiving care and an owner who was able to access veterinary services that might otherwise have been out of reach.

🎉Congratulations Mischa on being adopted! 🎉

Mischa came to the shelter a year ago in June 2025, when her owner sadly passed away.

Mischa was very scared and shut down at first, only coming out a night to sneak food.

Over the past year, the shelter volunteers have slowly, on her own terms helped her come out of her shell and learn that pets and lovin’ can feel pretty good! ❤️

We are so thrilled a loving couple has decided to take her into their safe and loving home.

Congratulations Mischa! We wish you all the best in your new family. You take a piece of our hearts! 😻

Come smell the roses! 🌹

Tour Rod Lauman’s beautiful rose garden at 206 Cliff St. in St.Johnsbury.
Kingdom Animal Shelter cats currently available for adoption will be featured among the roses as you enjoy the walking tour or a relaxed sit on the bench among the roses!

If you haven’t seen the rose garden yet, it’s a must see.

YARD SALE:
During the rose garden tour, Kingdom Animal Shelter will be hosting a fundraiser Yard Sale and Homemade Goodie Bake Sale.

Yard Sale donations can be dropped off on the porch at 206 Cliff St. Wednesday 6/17-Friday 6/19.

The Yard Sale and the Bake Sale
will be held Saturday June 20th, from 8-2pm.

Come down and enjoy some goodies and find some treasures!

BARK IN THE PARK:
Bark in the Park, a fundraiser for the shelter will happen around 12noon.

Tickets 🎟️ for the $500, $100, $50, Cat Basket or Dog Basket drawing can be purchased right up to the time Sadie the lab will pick the winning 🎾 tennis balls from off the lawn!

The winners don’t have to be present to win, but you do need to have a ticket! (Or 10!) 🎟️🎟️🎟️🎟️🎟️🎟️🎟️
