VIDA Rescue We are a non-profit rescue dedicated to ending the suffering of animals. We operate through a network of dedicated and amazing volunteers.

VIDA (Volunteers in Defense of Animals) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 2015 by a group of passionate volunteers who have been working for years to end the mistreatment and suffering of animals. Our mission is to protect and help dogs and cats from homelessness, neglect, abuse, cruelty, and abandonment. We provide medical care, shelter, and food, for homeless animals. We sponsor spay

and neuter campaigns for communities in need within Mexico & Guatemala. Our vision is to see the end of mistreatment & exploitation of animals and assist each & every one into a loving home.

Not ready to adopt? We welcome fosters and volunteers. We also offer doggy day dates in which you can take any dog from the rescue for the day to give them some individual attention.

Cosmo is a 6 year old chihuahua that has been with us for a while. He is SUCH a good boy!! Doesn't bark uncontrollably, walks great on a leash, and does great in a crate when he's waiting for his bath. He deserves a good home to spend the rest of his life in. All bathing spots have been filled 🙏🏻 We now need volunteers to help transport the dogs to the expo this Saturday. Saturday volunteers would be needed from 7 AM until 4 PM, or anytime in between. We need transportation from Rowland Heights to Brea and back.
