Pumpkin spice season calls for a pumpkin spice friend! 🎃☕️🐈

Meet Morris, a 9-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix. This sweet gentleman is a true love bug who especially enjoys the quiet moments — looking for a friend to cuddle up in your lap? Morris has you covered. Need someone to vent to? Morris is all ears! Want to make biscuits in the cozy weather? Morris is a top-notch baker! 💕

When he’s not soaking up affection from our team, Morris can be found lounging by his cabin window, waiting patiently for his next admirer to fall in love with his adorable meow and his sweet little freckled nose.

Morris has no prior history of living with cats, dogs, or children, so slow, thoughtful introductions are recommended.

And thanks to a generous donor, Morris’ adoption fee has been waived! 🥹 This sweet boy is ready to find his loving family. Could you be the one he’s been waiting for?

Who’s ready for football season!? 🙋‍♀️ We may be in northern Nevada but we happen to have our very own Buckin’ Bronco! 🐶🏈 Denver Broncos

At just 11 months old, this Border Collie/Siberian Husky mix pup is already winning hearts everywhere he goes. With his adorable face, playful personality, and larger than life smile, Bronco is the total package for the fan looking to celebrate a win each and every day.

This brave boy loves diving headfirst into new adventures, and he does it all with that signature smile on his face. With plenty of energy, Bronco is looking for an active home where he can stay busy and receive lots of enrichment. Go long for a tennis ball pass, and you’ll have the very best receiver to catch it! He’ll happily play fetch as long as you let him and bring the ball right back to you every time. 🎾

Bronco has lived with a dog and enjoys meeting new dogs. He’s also lived with cats, but slow introductions are always recommended. He can go home with kids ages 12+, preferably ones who will sneak him treats from the watch party snack table! 🍗🤝

Join us for our next Reading with Rescues on Saturday, September 12 from 10–11 AM! Readers of all ages are invited to participate and spend some one-on-one time with our adoptable pets while practicing your reading skills in front of the sweetest, most non-judgmental audience. 🥰

This September, we’re proud to recognize 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗸 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵!

Known for professional junk removal with a strong focus on recycling and responsible reuse, Junk King has also become an 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱-𝘁𝗵𝗲-𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗣𝗖𝗔 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲.

Our community donates so many wonderful items to help homeless pets—and Junk King helps us make the most of what comes through our doors. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗱 and given a new purpose, including being transformed into things like Buddy Benches! ♻️

It may happen behind the scenes, but the impact is very real. Every resource they help us save is one more resource we can put toward our lifesaving mission. ❤️🐾

Meet Sashay! This sweet 9-month-old Shepherd Mix may be a little timid at first, but give her some patience, gentle guidance, and lots of love, and you’ll start to see her true personality shine. 🐕✨
 
During her time here, we’ve seen just how far she’s come in such a short time. She loves playing with other dogs, and knows when to step away after she’s had her fun! We’ve also had the pleasure of seeing all her fun quirks come out—like her adorable head tilt, and the way she bows to both humans and dogs before getting ready to play! 🥹💜
 
Sashay could benefit from going home with a confident dog who can help her continue coming out of her shell. She has no history with cats, so slow introductions are recommended. And she can meet kids ages 12+!
 
She’s ready to find a patient, loving home where she can take the world in stride and be her best quirky self!

Cats, and kitties, and dogs! Oh my! 🐾💜

Whether you're looking to adopt or simply want to pop by and make a pet's day, there is always someone waiting to say hello.

Our Adoption Center is full of fluffy faces, wagging tails, curious noses, and SO much love just waiting to be shared. Come down and soak up some puppy kisses and kitty purrs.
