They flew halfway around the world to ride horses just east of Dallas.
Not for a photo op — for a question: what's ranch life actually like out here?
They came all the way from the South of France, wanting a ranch day and a horse — the real one, not the postcard.
So we showed them. Sandy loam under the horses, the pond off to one side, no clock running the day. When Beau asked how the Texas experience had treated them, she smiled and said, "I have now."
Summer still rides beautifully out here. Fall is right behind it — cooler air, longer shadows, trails at their best.
Just east of Dallas — located in Quinlan, Texas, adjacent to Lake Tawakoni, serving the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas.
