What a day for and Courtney Battison’s Eleanor Tag and 7 Lakes Trainer Mirko Midili 🤩

Their 223 at the SWRHA Futurity was enough for 3rd place and over $12,000 added to their lifetime earnings.

We can’t wait to see them in action again at the National Reining Horse Association Futurity!

Bringing home a little hardware and a lot to be proud of from Congress!

Mirko Midili and Always Shiny, owned by Thiago Boechat, finished 11th in the All Star Reining Stakes Level 4 Open Futurity Final, earning $11,000+.

Lane Colston and Dust brought home TWO championships, winning both the Level 4 and Level 3 Non Pro Futurity, and earning over $40,000. What a show for this pair! 🙌

Courtney Battison & Help Me Ronda earned over $7,200 with a top 10 finish in the L4, 6th in L3, and 4th in L2! Way to go, Courtney!

We’re proud of these horses, these riders and everyone behind the scenes who helps them step into the pen ready. There’s a lot of everyday work behind these moments, and we’re grateful to share them with this crew.

A team like no other. A program committed to success.

Some horses become such a part of our lives that it’s hard to imagine the barn without them.

We learn their habits. We look for their faces. We build our days around caring for them, and somewhere along the way, they give us far more than we could ever give back.

Today, we said goodbye to Master Spooks, known and loved here as Frankie.

There’s so much of a horse’s life that never makes it into a record book. The quiet moments together. The people they bring into our lives. Those are the things we carry with us long after we have to say goodbye.

We wish we had more time with you, Frankie. Thank you for being part of ours. 🤍

Some milestones are measured in dollars. The ones that mean the most are measured in everything it took to get there.

We’ve had a front-row seat to so much of Mirko Midili’s journey, and we know the million-dollar mark represents far more than a number. It represents years of early mornings and late nights. Countless horses. Big wins, hard lessons, and the decision to keep showing up and doing the work every single day.

Mirko has played an incredible role in building the program we’re proud to call 7 Lakes Ranch, and reaching this milestone with him on the team makes it that much more special.

Congratulations, Mirko, on officially becoming an NRHA Million Dollar Rider. We’re incredibly proud of you, grateful you’re part of this team and excited for everything still ahead.

A team like no other. A program committed to success. And moments like this that remind us just how special the journey can be.
