It's been a wonderful week celebrating our team. And what better way to end the week than a little Chappy's for lunch?!

If you’ve ever worked in a vet clinic, you can probably hear this graphic. 😂🐾
Lost pens, cold coffee, surprise emergencies, missing scissors, no lunch…and somehow somebody is still considering taking another animal home.
Just another perfectly normal day in vet med. 😅💙

😂 Vet Staff Starter Pack: Scrubs, coffee, pet hair, treats, bandage scissors, 47 pens that somehow disappear by lunch… and the ability to function in complete chaos. 🐾☕️
Powered by caffeine, compassion, and the occasional puppy cuddle. 💙💛

Attention clients in the Lake Martin area!

🐾 SO MANY MOUTHS TO FEED… AND WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🐾

Our shelter is full of hungry little faces, and we’re in desperate need of both dog and cat food! 🐶🐱

With so many animals depending on us for their daily meals, we go through an incredible amount of food. Keeping all those bowls full is no small task, and right now, our food supply is running very low.

If you’re able to pick up an extra bag of food during your next shopping trip, it would mean so much to us! No donation is too small, and every single bag helps us care for the animals who need us 🫶🏼

🐾 Our preferred brands are pictured below, but donations of other brands are welcome and appreciated, too!

📍 Donations can be dropped off in person or shipped directly to:

Lake Martin Animal Shelter
2502 Sugarcreek Road
Alexander City, AL 35010

Thank you for helping us keep full bellies and happy tails! Every donation makes a difference, and we’re so grateful for the kindness and generosity of our community 🐾

‼️PLEASE SHARE! Even if you aren’t able to donate, sharing this post could help us reach someone who can.

👉🏼 The two animals pictured are currently available for adoption!

Thank you to our amazing team for putting your whole heart into caring for every paw that walks through our doors! ❤️🐾

100%!!!!!

Happy Vet Tech Week! Behind most smooth surgeries there's a tech who had everything ready before anyone asked, and the credit doesn't always land on them. Vets, tell us in the comments about the tech who has your back 👇
