It’s with complete and utter sadness that we share the news about our beloved Tina. On Tuesday, we lost an amazing team member, friend, and soul. Tina, Altered Tails clinic manager, has been a core member in our spay/neuter world for over 20 years. From starting as a technician to co-managing the old community outreach department at MCACC, to AT’s clinic manager (and a few other stints along the way). To say Tina was simply a great person is an understatement. She was one of the kindest people with a genuine heart of gold 💛 She really valued the ability to help people and their animals, and was so happy to do so. Tina was more than a co-worker to our team; she was a true friend and a piece of our little puzzle. Many of us have had the pleasure of knowing and working alongside Tina throughout her 20+ years in this field, and for that, we are grateful.
July 1st, we will be closed to allow all staff to attend her Celebration of Life.
We also want to take a moment to extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and thank them for their generosity. This is from the FB post they shared earlier - “To further support her passion and continue her efforts, we encourage you to donate to Altered Tails, which was not only her place of work, but also her way of giving back to the community and animals that needed support. She cared immensely about this initiative.”
There is now a Tina Memorial Fund in her honor. Any donations will go towards her continued love of helping the animals and their people with those little extras that can’t be afforded.
