All working together to end pet homelessness, accidental litters and euthanasia.

ALTERED TAILS is a nonprofit SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC, offering services to all Pet Parents, Caregivers of Community Free-roaming/Stray/Feral Cats (TNR), and partner rescue orgs. Altered Tails provides affordable spay/neuter service to the public and owners who could not afford to do so otherwise, low cost vaccines and other vital services to owners of companion pets and rescue organizations, and helps reduce the number of feral cats living in our communities through our Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) program.

Altered Tails is appreciative to be part of this morning's Synergy Conference for Neighborhood Leaders across Phoenix, providing vital information about/to all things Spay, Neuter and TNR 🐾💚

Thank you, City of Phoenix Neighborhood Services Department for the invitation and opportunity to meet and reconnect with so many community leaders from Phoenix! It's a wonderful morning ☀️

Whether we're talking about water conservation, community development, or caring for our neighborhoods (and the animals within them)... it comes down to working together!

Have a wonderful weekend, all 🐾

THANK YOU, EVERYONE - WE ARE FULLY STOCKED (I think for the next year 😆). You all came through for us, and all the TNR trappers/caregivers who bring their ferals/strays/community cats to Altered Tails. Again - THANK YOU!!! WE LOVE YOU ALL ❤

Old paper, new paper, grocery store ads - We'll take it! Just not the "shiny paper ads" (as they don't absorb well). We appreciate your donations and time to help us, the feline caregivers, and kitties the newspaper benefits 😻🐾 Have a wonderful day and stay cool!

*Donations may be dropped-off Tues, Thur, and Fridays: 7A-3P
950 W. Hatcher Rd., Phoenix, 85021 (NE Corner of 11th Ave and W. Hatcher Rd). Lobby entrance/Clinic parking lot is accessed from 11th Ave side, through the gates. Thank you!

It’s with complete and utter sadness that we share the news about our beloved Tina. On Tuesday, we lost an amazing team member, friend, and soul. Tina, Altered Tails clinic manager, has been a core member in our spay/neuter world for over 20 years. From starting as a technician to co-managing the old community outreach department at MCACC, to AT’s clinic manager (and a few other stints along the way). To say Tina was simply a great person is an understatement. She was one of the kindest people with a genuine heart of gold 💛 She really valued the ability to help people and their animals, and was so happy to do so. Tina was more than a co-worker to our team; she was a true friend and a piece of our little puzzle. Many of us have had the pleasure of knowing and working alongside Tina throughout her 20+ years in this field, and for that, we are grateful.

July 1st, we will be closed to allow all staff to attend her Celebration of Life.

We also want to take a moment to extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and thank them for their generosity. This is from the FB post they shared earlier - “To further support her passion and continue her efforts, we encourage you to donate to Altered Tails, which was not only her place of work, but also her way of giving back to the community and animals that needed support. She cared immensely about this initiative.”

There is now a Tina Memorial Fund in her honor. Any donations will go towards her continued love of helping the animals and their people with those little extras that can’t be afforded.

We ask that you please keep her family in your prayers and thoughts. We also thank many of you working with us as we navigate these next few weeks. She was a wonderful friend, mother and more...We'll miss you, Tina! Thank you ❤
