We’d like to take a minute to congratulate one of our youngest riders on their success at the Palo Pinto County 4H Horse Show this past weekend. Lana has been working hard since her first 4H show last year. She competed in Halter and Showmanship with Sass is the Remedy, by Quails Dun Remedy, taking home the Grand Champion Halter Horse Title! She also competed in several riding divisions on A Smart Napoleon, taking the win in the Western Horsemanship Class. We are so proud of the work that Lana has been putting in to work on her riding and her mental game of staying calm and composed in a show setting! We love seeing it all come together.

We are a little behind on updates but we had a wonderful show at Panhandle Reined Cow Horse Association last weekend! Several of our riders marked personal best scores and took home checks. Going down the road with such a big group can be challenging but I’m so grateful for the help and teamwork from within our barn and our good friends.

Thank you to our fantastic team at home, Kerri Wright and Leila Anderson, for taking such great care of everything while we are away.

Thank you to the show staff, Nelle Murphy and Ryleigh Semanchik for a well run show.

The only rider not pictured in these photos is Christian Kozowyk. Even though he showed in two classes he still got his camera out and got these photos of everyone in the barn. Thank you Christian!

Emily Patterson swept the Level One Open at the Panhandle Reined Cow Horse Association Show 2. Ze Travelin N Style won the Level One Open Bridle for owners Joseph Young and Suzette M Jolley and EZ Breezy Solano won the Level One Open Hackamore for owner Christian Kozowyk . Emily was also second in Show One on PWSmooth for Marla Rafter Gese. More updates from the show to come and good luck to our Non Pros showing over the weekend!

The South Texas Reined Cow Horse Association Spring Showdown was a very successful show for Team Patterson. Every rider brought home a check or marked a a personal best! Some highlights included Sara Forrest, Sammi Nack, Suzette M Jolley, and Keress Stuckey finishing 1st-4th in the Box Drive Class. Emily Patterson and Z Playin owned by Shaunta Grimes won the Level One Open Bridle both days. Marla Gese picked up checks in all her classes including her first Bridle Spectacular! In addition to her win in the Box Drive on Smart Step-in Chic, Sara Forrest and Y Knot More Magic also picked up checks in the Limited Non Pro Boxing their first show together! Charlee Baker and her new mare placed in the money in the Youth Boxing! Christian Kozowyk marked a personal best in their boxing run!

While we are very proud of these results we are even more proud of the genuine support and camaraderie among these riders. Thanks to each and every one of you for making our job so fun and rewarding!

Thanks to Tina McCleary for putting on such a wonderful well run show as well as to show officials and cattle crew who worked long days to make the show run smoothly! Special thank you to our help Kerri Wright for taking care of everything at home while we are on the road!
