Hello, fellow pawrents,
Today I welcomed a client’s pup for boarding. She’s just 16 months old. From the moment she got out of the car, she trembled and paced, too scared to step inside. Her owner said she loves the yard, but when we took her outside she shook even harder. Once in the room, she only felt safe tucked into a corner.
I later learned she had been abused… Those fearful eyes say everything. Our animals can’t speak, but their bodies tell the story: lowered head, rapid breathing, flinching at every sound.
We’ll move slowly—soft voice, a warm bed, water, and food placed near the spot she chose, no forced contact. I just want her to know one thing: here, she’s safe. No one will hurt her anymore.
