Featured friendly!! Adrien has been here one year. He is friendly, very laid back and a dilute grey male. He is available for the right home. Estimated age between 3-5 years old. Found by a Good Samaritan in a field by a Publix very lethargic, sick and covered in mange. He is a cuddler and a lap cat! Most of the day he is quite sleepy.

I love our success stories!!! This is Abby who we rescued along with over 80 cats from several colonies in one mobile home park in Wauchula about two years ago. It took us over a year to get them all out of there. It was a terrible place for the cats with many dangers and no TNR resources. Here is what Abby's adopter wrote us today:

"Hi there! Haven’t sent a pic in a while but Abby’s still living her best life and loves her big sister Daisy (cavalier) and “little” brother Duke (gsp mix). She enjoys “hunting”
Lizards with them on the patio. 😂"

I don't get too political usually but I am really done with tax payor dollars NOT at work in Polk County. They even refuse interviews and are about the only county to not believe in TNR. Clearly they cannot do the math and we just called for help with an abandoned dog and no real sense if urgency. At what point should the Governor of Florida mandate that, based on an enormous public outcry and outrage employees paid by that same public are held accountable for being uneducated and citing only studies that fit their hate for cats? This is just over the top ignorance and recusing interviews when Mr Judd is on TV almost daily strutting his achievements is just telling me that he thinks he was not elected by the people he serves?? Sorry but I have had enough!!
