The best time to prepare for fireworks is before they start.

Chica’s visit was a success! 💕🐾

This sweet 13-week-old Chihuahua puppy came in for her checkup with Dr. Melisa, and we made sure her visit was filled with treats, patience, and positive experiences.

We also introduced her to a nail trim using low-stress handling techniques — taking things slowly, offering rewards, and helping her build confidence instead of fear. Early visits like this are so important for teaching puppies that the vet can be a safe, friendly place.
