Here's a for you folks out there with chonky bois & gurlz.

When a pet needs to lose a few pounds, don't think, “How little can we feed?” Think “How can we make better use of what we’re feeding?”

A calorie tells you how much energy is in the food. It doesn’t tell you the whole nutritional story. Two bowls can contain the same number of calories and look very different nutritionally.

Protein helps support lean muscle. Fat provides energy and satiety. Fiber can help your pet feel satisfied. And digestibility matters because we want your pet to actually use the nutrition we’re putting into the bowl. Food should have a purpose!

August 28th is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. 🌈

This year we would like to share with you all some of our furry friends who have passed on. Please swipe and read to help us honor and cherish the moments we had with those furballs.🫶



Java was my first “grown up” dog and he was amazing. In 2002, when he got diagnosed with acute renal failure, I did not let that get the best of him. I put him on one of the first commercial raw foods on the market and he thrived. He lived an additional 10 years with no medical intervention. He began my nutritional journey in the pet industry. That big dog had big plans for me! -Rachel

Gnocchi was one of my OGs. He taught me so much about health and nutrition. While working with the vets and a good nutrition plan, his congestive heart failure was managed for many years without impacting his quality of life. He was an amazing boy and will be remembered forever. -Rachel

This is Daisy. She was our protector. She loved everyone. Even the little ankle biters. When we went to the shelter, we were looking for another small dog to keep our Dachshund company. She had just lost her brother. We left empty-handed that day. But my husband went back a few days later and said, “I need her.” Soon after, we started a family of our own. She took her promotion to Big Sister very seriously. She never barked in the home, but she was always on guard. That is, when she wasn’t the equivalent of a doggy beanbag chair. She gave us 14 wonderful years. We can’t wait to see her again. Over the Rainbow Bridge. -Jessica

Meet Ebony. She was the smartest, cuddliest cat. I remember her as she was: curious, loving and opening every door in the house just because she knew how! I hope she is happy and healthy where ever she is. She was my first responsibility and will always be my most treasured shadow. -Bree
