Her owner passed and she’d like a calmer environment than the one she’s in.

This is Teya. She’s 11. Spayed, and as of tomorrow will be current on all shots. She has always gone to Susan Raymond. She had bladder sand a long time ago so I give her 4Health urinary tract food and it has never returned. She can get really stressed and it once caused an auto immune reaction that caused her bladder to swell and inflame. She gets a very small dose of Ostilox to reduce inflammation, and it has never happened again. The meds amount to maybe $20 a month max. Given in Delectables (her favorite), she eats it gladly.

Teya loves her human hugely. She is snuggly and affectionate, talkative with adorable sounds, and very chill. She gets nervous easily and does not handle change well. She doesn’t have a problem with other animals but they make her more nervous. She would be a phenomenal cuddle cat for someone with a calm and stable life, especially if she were the only animal!

🐾 Sweet Delta cat needs a safe place to land 🐾

This very affectionate cat was sadly left behind in the Delta area, and some kind people have been looking out for this kitty while trying to find a safe, permanent home.

CAWS is helping spread the word and is willing to help with basic vetting if someone is able to take this sweet cat in. We believe the cat is already spayed/neutered, but if not, CAWS will take care of that, along with getting the cat up to date on vaccinations.

Because this kitty has been accustomed to living outside, bringing them into the shelter and keeping them confined in a cage would not be an ideal situation. We would really love to find someone who can offer a safe home where this affectionate cat can settle in, feel secure, and be loved.

CAWS shelter is using a dinosaur or a computer that is more than 10 years old,(in computer years its ancient) we use this for all our records and our cat/kitten number counts in the pet database, creating any signs for the thrift store & shelter, making flyers ect.

CAWS shelter is using a dinosaur or a computer that is more than 10 years old,(in computer years its ancient) we use this for all our records and our cat/kitten number counts in the pet database, creating any signs for the thrift store & shelter, making flyers ect.

It will make the time spent inputting information so much faster and will allow for a more efficient use of our time here at the shelter.

The CAWS Pet food bank could really use some stocking. As the weather gets colder pets need more food to fuel heat generation. We are really in need of big bags of dry cat food. Please help if you can. You can drop it off or ship it to us, or here is a link to help fund a purchase.
