Luky is a four (4) year old white/brown male American Staffordshire mix. He was brought to the Palmdale Animal Care Center as a stray. He was fund running the streets of 3400 block of Cheeseboro Road, East of Palmdale. Luck approached the medical staff with upright body posture, relaxed and flexible as well and approached the staff readily. His ears' position is neutral, and he had soft eye gaze.

His behavior evaluation noted that she does well with female dogs, but he shows a different behavior with male dogs. He is BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION, FEMALE DOGS ONLY (REQ), MEDIUM ENERGY.

Lucky was taken to the play yard by volunteers, and they noted that Lucky is a happy and playful dog. Loves to approach volunteers for petting and for treats. He is easy to handle and easy to leash. Goes back to his kennel without any resistance.

Lucky is ready to meet you and your family at the Palmdale Animal Care Center. Come and see him during the open hours of 11am to 5pm Mondays to Saturday. Give him an opportunity to have a new home and a forever family.

Julia is a two (2) year old fawn altered female Belgian Malinois. He was brought to the Palmdale Animal Care Center as an owner surrender, saying they do not have time for her. Julia . While being medically examined by our clinic staff, Julia had an upright body posture, with neutral ears and soft eye gaze. She approached readily as well.

During her play yard time, Julia while in the catch pen, she had a loose body and a neutral tail wag as she solicited affection to the handler. The handler easily clasped the collar around her neck. She entered the play yard timidly with a tucked tail and concerned eyes. She ran up to a handler and jumped up on him to solicit affection.

She is puppy like and will need basic manners training. She sought out handlers often to solicit affection. A female shepherd approached her, and they exchanged a timid greeting. A male border collie approached her, and they exchanged a timid greeting. She roamed the yard and began to relax. A female shepherd play bowed at her. She accepted the play and the two engaged in a gentle/dainty play.

The male border collie joined in on their play. She ran up to greet a female lab mix. She took a snap correction from her when she lingered in her face. She approached a female Doberman mix and exchanged a soft greeting with her. She remained social and playfully the rest of her time in the yard. She would benefit from continued socialization and confidence building. She was walked out of the play yard for a handling assessment.

Julia is social with other dogs and has a gentle/ dainty play style.

She is BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION, LARGE DOGS OK, HIGH ENERGY.

Julia is ready to go home to her new family and is ready to meet and greet you as well. Come to the Palmdale Animal Care Center during its open to the public hours of 11am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays. She is ready to have a forever home.
