🌟 Here We Grow Again! 🌟
Northlake Animal Hospital is thrilled to welcome Dr. Ni'Keeta Gilbert to our veterinary team beginning June 22nd!

Her lifelong dedication to veterinary medicine began at the age of three when attempting to rescue homeless puppies in her grandmother’s front yard. This passion evolved into action during her college years, where she began her short journey in animal rescue.
Dr. Gilbert obtained her doctorate training at The Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine where she developed a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and cardiology. Beyond the operating room, she remains deeply committed to educating the community on the vital importance of preventative medicine.
Outside of the clinic, she dedicates her free time to her family, two rescue pups Obi Wan Kenobi and Otato Anthony, strength training, reading and personal development. Her personal mission is to ensure every patient —regardless of their condition —receives the compassionate, high-quality care they deserve.

This handsome little stud is only 4 months old and already loves coming to see us! 🐾❤️

Today he stopped by Northlake Animal Hospital for his wellness visit, and he was all smiles and tail wags.

Puppy wellness care is one of the most important investments you can make in your pet's future. Regular wellness visits allow us to monitor growth and development, administer essential vaccinations, discuss nutrition and behavior, and help protect against parasites and preventable diseases.

These early visits also help puppies become comfortable with veterinary care, creating positive experiences that can reduce stress and anxiety throughout their lives.
