Reminder post that we offer nail trims for full day enrichment participants! When signing up on your portal, a page labeled “Add-ons Available for Purchase” will pop up before you complete your payment for enrichment. You can choose what type of nail train you prefer. We only accept cash for nail trims so please bring the correct amount to enrichment drop off! If you are having trouble on your portal, you can tell us at drop off that you would like a nail trim for you pup😄

Here are prices of what we offer:
-nail trim: clippers only $20
-nail trim: Dremel only $20
-nail trim: clippers and Dremel $25

Thanks to all who could make it to the pack walk! As we head into Memorial Day weekend, let’s pause to reflect on the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We honor their courage and are forever grateful.

Serena Middle School invited United Way and PK9T to their assembly yesterday for Kernel's first birthday! Trainer Ashley demonstrated test items from the CGC test that Kernel recently passed. She also showed the kids a few easy training tips they can do with their dogs at home and opened up the floor for questions. A student asked if Apollo(shepherd) listens to commands from other handlers? So Ashley had the student come down and work with Apollo. 🐾 A lot of different tricks were also requested. 😁 It was a fun afternoon!

The beauty of our Board and Train Refresher program allows us trainers to focus on specific goals/behaviors that need work but do require a regular Board and Train. Leo has had prior training (Day Training Program) but needed a few specific skills cleaned up (leash walking, greetings, and mouthiness) so a refresher was the perfect program.

Come with Leo and Trainer Carly on his last downtown outing to see what we have been working on! This big guy has his go-home lesson tomorrow🐾

Day 10. Gibbs is now taking food under stressful situations in public! Our reward marker word 'yes' has value because he only gets fed by the handler when hes working for his food! Because he has so much nervous energy we are really going to focus on keeping his food drive up. That means this week he will still be working for a majority of his food but I am going to start giving him small proportions two times a day in a bowl.
