Thank you to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice, two and four legged soldiers.

While we reflect on what today is really about- keep an eye on your furry friend as holidays can pose plenty of distractions and temptations.
Make sure non-safe foods are out of your pups reach and be mindful of those who choose to celebrate with fireworks. Also make sure they stay cool with plenty of shade and clean water.

Same date. Same show. 40 years apart.
June 13, 1986 — Virginia Murray was on the other end of the lead, earning the Hound Group at Skokie Valley Kennel Club.
Today she's an AKC judge herself.
We also remember the late Louis Auslander, who presented that ribbon. A great man who loved this sport. 🙏
The faces change. The tradition doesn't.
