Meet Blaze — we have one!

This handsome 8-month-old cow kitty is incredibly affectionate and just wants to be loved. He never wants to be far from his people and is always ready for attention, cuddles, and companionship.

Blaze is scheduled to be neutered this weekend and will be available for adoption a few days afterward.

If you'd like to meet him, stop by during our open hours or schedule an appointment if those times don't work for you. We think you'll fall in love with him as quickly as we did!

🚨 EMERGENCY HELP NEEDED FOR A 3-WEEK-OLD KITTEN 🚨

One of our tiniest babies, the runt of the litter, has developed a severe eye infection that has rapidly worsened. Our head volunteer witnessed a large fluid-filled bubble in her inner eyelid rupture, and we are deeply concerned about the extent of the infection.

Despite everything, this little fighter is still eating, drinking, and playing, but she needs emergency veterinary care immediately to prevent further complications and give her the best chance at saving her eye.

We are heading to the emergency vet NOW. The visit is expected to cost approximately $150, with an additional $100 needed for medications. If surgery becomes necessary in the future, she will need to be older before that can be considered.

Every dollar helps us get this kitten the urgent medical care she needs today. If you can donate, share, or help in any way, we would be incredibly grateful.

Update on Little Red ❤️

This darling girl is slowly healing after her major surgery to remove her eye. Every day she shows a little more strength, resilience,and trust.

Little Red is a reminder that no kitten or cat is disposable. Too many animals are abandoned or thrown away when they become inconvenient, and they are left to suffer the consequences. They then have to learn how to live, trust, and love all over again—if they ever had the chance to learn it in the first place.

Despite everything she has been through, Little Red is proving that healing is possible with love, patience, and care.

Spay and neuter your pets. It truly is the only way to help prevent so much unnecessary suffering.

Meet Angel, one of our newest intakes. Unfortunately, she has been struggling to maintain an appetite and is now experiencing severe vomiting, lethargy, and ongoing weight loss. We are very concerned about her condition and would like to get her seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible.

This month alone, we have already covered veterinary care for over 12 cats with various medical needs, and the expenses have quickly added up. Angel's examination fee will be $55, and with additional testing and medications, we estimate her total veterinary bill will be around $155.

If anyone is able to contribute toward Angel's care, no matter how small the donation, it would be greatly appreciated. Every dollar helps us provide the medical attention she urgently needs.

Breaking news: We accidentally ordered the family-size kitten package. 🐾🐾🐾

We currently have TWO mama cats and their separate litters looking for foster homes. That’s a whole lot of tiny paws, tiny meows, and not nearly enough places for them to crash.

Can you spare a room, bathroom, or quiet corner for a furry family? We’ll provide support, you provide the love.

Motherhood is hard enough, let alone in a rescue. Sometimes it takes a village.

📢 Important Update from Purrfect Kitty Mission

To our supporters, adopters, fosters, volunteers, and community members,

I want to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this announcement may cause. As many of you know, Purrfect Kitty Mission is a labor of love, and I am deeply committed to helping every cat and kitten that comes through our doors.

At this time, however, I am facing a personal family emergency. My youngest daughter has been in the ICU, and while we are grateful for the care she has received, we are still navigating the ongoing challenges and aftermath of her medical condition. My focus right now must be on ensuring that she receives the support and care she needs during her recovery.

Because of this, I may not be personally available to the public for the time being. Please know that Purrfect Kitty Mission is still operating with the help of an incredible team. Our staff and volunteers will continue assisting with Facebook messages, caring for the cats in our shelter, and handling day-to-day operations as best they can.

At this time, we will also be temporarily suspending all new intakes until this personal emergency has been resolved. This decision was not made lightly, but it is necessary to ensure that the animals currently in our care continue to receive the attention and resources they deserve.

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and support during this difficult time. Your kindness, prayers, and positive thoughts mean more than words can express to my family and to everyone at Purrfect Kitty Mission.
