Hope's Rescue Hope's Rescue is dedicated to Hope, a little Chihuahua that was thrown into a firepit and later died from her injuries. Hope's legacy will live on.

We are a passionate group of volunteers who are dedicated in helping as many shelter and relinquished animals find forever homes as possible. Each one of our volunteers comes to our rescue with a wealth of knowledge and deep understanding of the problems that exist with the overflowing amount of animals in shelters that have no chance of making it out. We can not save ALL of them but we will save

as many as humanly possible. All of our animals will be in foster homes so that gives us the opportunity to see their behavior, training, special needs and anything else that needs to addressed before adopting out.

Meet Duke! This charming, happy little guy is ready to find his forever family!

Duke is 6 years old and around 10 pounds - the perfect size for cuddling, which happens to be one of his favorite things! He loves being held and spending time with his people, and he’s sure to make a wonderfully loyal little companion.

Duke also loves playing with other dogs but is perfectly content entertaining himself, too. His favorite game is keep-away with his person, and he’s always ready to have a little fun!

Even better, Duke is crate trained, house trained, and knows how to use a doggy door. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccinations.

If you’re looking for an adorable, affectionate little best friend, Duke might just be your guy! ❤️

You will all love this journey for Emma!

Can you say glow up?!

From wandering the backroads of rural central Utah and fending for herself for who knows how long... to becoming a Police Comfort Dog, supporting officers after difficult days and offering judgment-free love to people who simply need a furry friend.

Emma is truly living her best life. ❤️ She's a beloved family pet who also gets to go to work with her dad every day, spending most of her time hanging out at the police station. She loves riding in the patrol car, howling along with the sirens, and trying to convince the "criminals" in the caged back seat to pet her. 😂

My heart is so full knowing where she ended up. I couldn't be more grateful to her new family and to UTA Police for giving her this incredible second chance. She is deeply loved, has an important job, and has the wonderful life she always deserved.

Emma'a full job description:

She serves as the departments community engagement and emotional support canine. Her primary role is to support the mental health and wellness of officers all strengthening positive relationships between the police department and the community internally. She provides comfort and stress relief to officers and professional staff following critical incidents during periods of elevated stress, and throughout the normal demands of law-enforcement her calm demeanor helps create opportunities for informal peer support and promotes officer wellness and contributes to a healthier workplace culture within the community. She serves as a positive ambassador for the department by engaging with citizens during community events, transit outreach and behavioral health contacts and other public interactions her presence often helps reducing anxiety encourages conversation and builds trust with individuals who may otherwise be hesitant to interact with law-enforcement.

Meet Sweet Abby 🐾💕, the 9-year-old Cavalier Spaniel who's waiting to capture your heart! This lovely lady weighs 16 pounds, loves short walks 🏞️, and adores being pampered with pets and snuggles on the couch 🛋️. As a house-trained and doggy door-trained pup, Abby promises a smooth transition into her new home. With her recent dental care and full vetting, she's all set to start her new life!

Anyone would be lucky to have Abby join their family!

Emma is in heat, so it will be a while before she's available for adoption.

Under all of this, there's a precious dog. How can anyone neglect a dog like this? She's joined Hope's Rescue, and we are calling her Emma.

Emma, our promise to you is that you will never be neglected again and will be loved and cared for.
Grooming is tomorrow morning at 8am!

Thank you so much to the dedicated transporters who drove hundreds of miles today to bring Emma and other lucky dogs to their rescues!

Bella at Hope’s Rescue is looking for a home!

Bella is a gorgeous 1-year-old, 48 lb poodle/pointer mix with the sweetest personality and legs for days. She’s playful, affectionate, and loves both her canine friends and her human friends.

Bella would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard, as she’s athletic, curious, and likely to take herself on an adventure if given the chance. She’s tall, lean, and absolutely stunning, but it’s her wonderful disposition that really makes her special.

Senior for Seniors

A while ago, we rescued Butterscotch from a shelter down south. At that time, we only knew she was a senior with some medical issues. Butterscotch immediately saw our vet and had a full-panel bloodwork. The bloodwork came back great, so we scheduled her for a much-needed dental and had a huge tumor removed, which was benign, and all vaccines and rabies.
In the time she has been with her foster family, she has just been the happiest girl with a little spring to her step!

We have decided that Butterscotch, who is now called Mabel, would be a wonderful companion for a senior.

Mabel will be the first dog in our Senior for Seniors program.

Mabel is 30 pounds and is a Corgi-Beagle mix. In other words, she is an adorable mutt! Mabel is housetrained, loves to be with her person to cuddle, likes to sniff her way around the yard, and does stairs easily.
This precious girl would be a wonderful, faithful companion.

Our adoption fees will be greatly reduced for our senior-to-seniors. However, each dog will be fully vetted, with dentals if required, and any medical needs disclosed.
