Railroad crossing safety imrpovements are scheduled in Oakland Park on June 9, 10, and 12.

Brightline, in coordination with the Federal Railroad Administration and FDOT, is making improvements at Florida East Coast Railway crossings, including new delineators, signage, striping, and raised pavement markers.

Traffic impacts are expected at the following crossings:

Tuesday, June 9
Oakland Park Boulevard - Lane closure at the railroad crossing

Wednesday, June 10
NE 45th Street -- Full road closure at the railroad crossing

Friday, June 12
NE 38th Street/Park Lane East -- Full road closure at the railroad crossing.

Drivers should expect delays, follow posted signage, and use alternate roots when possible.
