Today is farrier day and we need your help!

We are aiming to raise $225 to cover the cost of getting our rescues feet trimmed and properly cared for.

As many know, we don't ask for help unless we truly need the help. If you're able to donate, even a small amount, it would truly mean so much to us. Every little bit gets us closer to our goal.

Sweetpea found her forever home this past weekend!

Our hearts are so full knowing this sweet soul is off to start her new life surrounded by love. She brought so much joy while she was with us, and I know she’s going to be absolutely cherished.

Thank you to everyone who showed her love and support along the way—this is the happy ending we were hoping for!

Does anyone have any smaller blankets that would fit our two donkeys? Either donate or borrow.

We thought we had some smaller blankets but they are not waterproof.

Just a little update on Sweetpea the haflinger mare that we took in not too long ago.

Although she had some minor set backs she is progressing forward extremely well now.

She decided she likes the taste for acorns and had upset her stomach but now she is doing much better and gaining weight nicely.

She does not have many viable teeth but she does love soaked alfalfa cubes!

We are still taking donations towards her care as feed and alfalfa cubes add up when they cannot consume hay.

We have received $44 in donations! Thank you all so much! That will get us 1 bale of hay! Yes it doesn’t sound like much, but it is to us.

We only need $156 more to be able to get the rest of the hay needed this week. We pick up today. Can you spare $5 or more to help us get our hay today?

We don’t like to ask for help, but we really need your help. Yes we know everyone is struggling and it’s just not easy anymore, we appreciate if you can only share!

Sweetpea, one of our newest intakes would like to tell everyone something: Do you know what today is? It's $5 Friday! Can you donate just $5 to help our rescue animals get feed and hay for the rest of the month?

Our bare minimum expenses for the rest of the month are as follows:

Senior feed: $344.85
Alfalfa: $195
Coastal Hay: $600
Supplements: $70.98
Total need to cover the rest of the month: $1,210.83

We have 1,295 followers. If all of you just donated $1 we would have that money more than covered. You all should know us by now, we do not ask for any donations, unless we truly need it.

We have hit a rough patch and things are hard. They are hard for everyone. We are small, we get no state or government help and we do not have any large sponsors like some of the bigger rescues do. Also unlike, the bigger rescues, there are no paid personnel here. All the donations go directly to the care of the animals.

Can you donate just $1 or since its Friday, can you donate $5? We really could use the help. If you can't donate, please share! Someone else may be able to.
