Coco is FOUND! Thank you to all who have been looking!

Have you seen Coco? He is a super sweet shihtzu mix, and has gone missing. Last seen around the Newfane Hill area. He does have his collar and tags on, and he is very friendly! If you happen to find him, please give us a call or send us a message so we can let his dad know ❤️

Heat Advisory

Due to the extreme heat over the next few days, please keep an eye on your pets! Limit potty walks, keep their sensitive toes off of the pavement, and ensure they have plenty of water.

Please reach out with any questions or concerns about how to keep your pets safe in the heat.

Warm weather poses health risks to pets, even on days that don’t seem that hot. Knowing the risks and being prepared can help keep pets safe.

We are starting to integrate our new client communications platform, Otto. Now you can access your pet's reminders and basic health information through Otto's client portal or app. You can also send and receive messages via text, using the main clinic phone number.

We ask for your patience as we make this transition. Clients may receive double reminders for a few weeks while our Petly communications are still active.

*Unfortunately, the AT&T cell tower in Newfane is being worked on, so cell service may also be limited around this area*

Our hearts are heavy and broken for the loss of this wonderful young lady. Sierra was hardworking and diligent, with a deep-rooted love of animals. The few hours she spent with us each week were brighter with her presence. She was like family to many of us, and words cannot express how much we all loved her. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Cutts family in this tragedy.

Sierra Avryn Cutts arrived on December 27, 2010, number seven of eight siblings. On May 5, 2026, she passed into God's glory, and is now resting in His mighty arms.

While naturally reserved, Sierra had a heart for people and a natural ability to make those around her feel appreciated and loved. She treasured and served her Savior, Jesus Christ with unwavering trust. She attended Valley Bible Church and enjoyed every moment with her church family. Her favorite Bible verse was Romans 8:28; she believed that “God worked all things together for good…” She brought laughter to all those around and her smile was contagious.

Another of her greatest joys was found in the company of animals. One of her jobs was cleaning our local vet clinic a few hours a week and often shared stories about the animals she met there. Her love ran deep for the family animals; especially her dog, Roxy and her cat, Toby Keith. Some of her most fond hobbies included reading, swimming, gardening, baking (she made the best eclairs) and had recently taught herself to crochet. She fell instantly in love with it, finding any excuse to spend countless hours creating gifts for those she loved.

Sierra is survived by her parents, Brad and Alisia; her seven siblings: Bradford, Makaylee, Weston (wife, Julia), Kyrah, Garret, Jackson, and Alivia; and her cherished niece, Greenly. She also leaves behind her grandparents, Fred and Sharon Laughman; great-grandparents, Bill and Ruth Rebert; grandmother, Sally Cutts; great-aunt, Carol Nilges; and MANY aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her grandfather, Bruce Cutts; her aunt, Liz; great-grandmother, Marion Harris; and great-grandmother, Jean Laughman.

A memorial service to celebrate a life so beautifully lived will be held on Saturday, May 16 at 11:00 AM at Valley Bible Church, 3264 Windham Hill Rd, Windham, VT 05359. A potluck reception will follow at Townshend Town Hall, 2006 VT-30, Townshend, VT 05353.

In honor of Sierra, please find a moment to show extra appreciation for the animals in your life. Enjoy the faithful companionship they provide and show them the kind of love Sierra would.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fenton and Hennessey Funeral Home, 55 Westminster Street, Bellows Falls, VT.
