We decided to see how Trip likes Fast Cat in Iowa and while he was unsure on the first run, his second and third run he did SO GOOD!👏🏼

He accumulated almost 50 points in 2 runs so with that being said, I’ll be taking a break from showing him while we chase his BCAT title🖤

I’m so proud of this boy! His drive, his temperament, his structure, and most of all…his love that he shares with every human he meets🥹🫶🏻

SFD’s All That’s Forged In Friendship

If you would’ve asked me two years ago if I ever imagined I’d be standing here today, I probably would’ve laughed… and maybe cried a little too. 🥹 Because truthfully, this still feels like a dream.

This handsome boy is my first puppy from Kristi M Garner, and I genuinely couldn’t be more grateful for the trust, friendship, and opportunity that brought him into my life. I don’t take this opportunity lightly, and I’m beyond thankful to be a small part of the Sunflower Dachshunds family. 🌻

Mack is everything I could have hoped for and more, and I’m so incredibly excited for the journey ahead. I now get the absolute privilege of loving him, raising him, training him, and hopefully stepping into the show ring with him. And if all goes as planned, one day he’ll have the opportunity to carry on the legacy of the program that he came from. 🥹

I’m so excited to see where this boy takes us and what the future holds. The best part? This is only the beginning. 🙌🏻

🍫Kit’s turn🍫

This was Kit’s first show and with it being outside, the grass being longer, and it actively raining, she did as well as could be expected for a 5 month old puppy🥹

She refused to walk in the wet grass on Saturday because she’s a princess🤣 She stood on the table great though and walked under the covered portion(who could blame her)..
With all that being said, Judge Mr Robert J Shreve saw how special she was and awarded her Best Of Breed 4-6 Beginner Puppy along with a Group 2nd🎉 He was so patient and kind with her, I truly appreciate how much grace he showed her!

Thank you to Martina Bowen for this special girl🤎 I can’t wait for her next show!

Friday was a VERY special day for Taki and I🥰

We took a long trip to Amana, IA so that I could go to a show with my mentor and be able to support and cheer each other on and that’s exactly what we did🥹

Friday, under Judge Rhonda Silveira, Taki was Winners and Best Of Winners for a 5 Point Major🎉

Kristi M Garner has been my biggest cheerleader from the start and I truly don’t know where I’d be without her, kneeling in the ring next to her each day was a dream and being able to watch her finish not one but TWO of hers was extra special!!! Thank you Kristi for your infinite amount of support and for trusting me with Taki❤️
