Here is the flyer that will go out to local veterinarian offices.
If you know someone who has a dog who is terminal please print this and share it with them. Tell them to bring it to me and I will honor it as a gift card.
Note: I will need to verify that the dog is terminal through their vet.

How's this for progress? Arya is well on her way to frolicking and running. We think she is improving and feeling a lot better today. ♥️ To Nehalem Animal Healing for their love and great care. And the fancy new wheels!!

On 4/20 Day, we want to remind pet owners to secure all THC products and foods containing ma*****na in pet-proof containers and keep them out of reach of pets. Keep pets away from cannabis plants. If your pet ingests ma*****na, seek veterinary care and let them know you suspect ma*****na poisoning.

Your pet can be poisoned by:
* Inhalation of the smoke
* Ingestion of the plant
* Ingestion of products containing ma*****na or hashish
* Ingestion of foods containing ma*****na ("edibles"), such as brownies, cookies, candies, oils, and butter. When foods also contain chocolate, the risk of poisoning is increased.

THC is the component of ma*****na that causes illness. Symptoms are usually seen within 30-60 minutes of inhalation or ingestion and may include:
* Glassy eyes
* Stumbling, lack of coordination
* Disorientation
* Dilated pupils
* Drowsiness, agitation, excitement (dogs)
* Urinary incontinence or dribbling (dogs)
* Vomiting
* Tremors and seizures
* Coma

Our front desk staff members are always multitasking and most are cross trained as vet techs. They work hard under pressure! If you get a chance to thank them this week we know you’ll get a smile and thank you in return.
