Ive had an increase in calls lately from people needing to rehome their cats usually because they are moving or getting evicted. Im unable to take people's personal cats. I dont have the space and it's not my mission. There are too many strays who need my help. My opinion is these are your cats, you need to find a new home for them.
I suggest making a post with a bio and good clear pictures and post on different groups, not just your own page. I can share it too. Make flyers and hang them at vet offices & other bulletin boards. Most importantly, call and email every person you know: co-workers, church members, neighbors, family, friends... explain the situation and ask if they can take your cats. I know it's not easy, no one knows that more than me.

The first picture is from 11 years ago. Its the photo I received about a hoarding case down in Mexi-Cali. The rescue I was fostering for needed fosters. I was a big dog foster, not a fan of small dogs but they were desperate. I said "Fine, I'll take the 2 biggest ones (out of the group of 20)". One of those unsocialized little ankle biters was my soul mate, I just didn't know it yet. Not until she got adopted (and returned) and then adopted again. I was so sad and missed her so much that I told Chuck if Cali gets returned again, I'm keeping her and never letting her go! 😭 Well she got returned again, for running away (which she never did with me). We never left each other's side for another 9 years until my baby crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

This kitten is PERFECT! Friendly, super playful, good mouser, vetted and yet she has received not one bit of interest. 😿
Yeah yeah.. theres that pesky FELV positive test BUT her numbers show she has a regressive infection, is not contagious and will probably test negative eventually.

I have 4 older kittens (the fast food family who were living in a drive thru) needing a barn together. I have people who want 1 or 2 but I want to try to find them a place together. The last of them are getting fixed today. They have been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and received flea/tick/ear mite treatment. Their temperament ranges from curious to freaked out. They mainly just hide 😞 but I can scruff them easily to pick them up and handle them.
They will need to be confined in a space (either stall or some dog crates zip tied together, which I can loan) for 2 to 4 weeks so they get used to you and the sights, smells & sounds of their new home otherwise they will just take off. They need to be fed daily (they love wet food😻) and have a warm spot to go into in winter. I can provide styrofoam coolers with straw. Their adoption fee is $25 each which is less than half of what their vetting costs. Mt Vernon Ohio.

Just throwing it out there in case someone is in Columbus today... i was able to snag 3 spay appointments at Columbus humane today So I dropped them off first thing this morning. Pick up is between 430 and 5pm. I will drive back down but just thought I would ask in case someone's in the Hilliard area at that time and could bring me three kittens in traps back to Mt Vernon.

Gato is such a GORGEOUS kitten!! Very friendly & sweet. She is around 10 weeks old. Gato tested positive for Feline Leukemia but we had her numbers tested and she actually has a regressive infection which means she is currently unlikely to be infectious to other cats and one day she may eventually test negative.
Gato has been vaccinated, but we are going to hold off spaying her until she is 4 pounds. She is up for adoption. And recently I discovered that Gato is a really good hunter! Somehow she has caught 2 mice!! 😳 in the house! If you are interested, we can discuss any concerns with my vet or yours. Located in Mt Vernon Ohio.

Grace started this farmstand recently and I can vouch for how delicious the baked goods are!! You will never buy store bought English muffins again! The cinnamon rolls are literally to die for. Follow the page because she is always offering new flavors!! Thank you Grace!! 😻
