Join the team at Wright-Way Rescue and help make a difference for homeless pets every single day. We are currently hiring both FULL TIME and PART TIME Animal Caregivers at our Morton Grove Adoption Center. located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove IL 60053.

Our caregivers are the heart of our rescue operation — providing daily care, cleaning, feeding, exercise, and love to the animals who depend on us while they wait for forever homes. Daily responsibilities include: • Feeding and watering animals • Cleaning kennels and maintaining a clean facility • Exercising and socializing dogs • Monitoring animal health and behavior • Keeping the shelter environment clean and organized • Working as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

This job is active, physical, rewarding, and perfect for someone who truly loves animals and isn’t afraid of hard work.

URGENT - Maggie Needs Emergency Veterinary Care!!!

Dear Friends of Wright-Way Rescue,

We received an urgent plea for help from rural Mississippi. A stray dog had wandered up to the home of a kind family — terrified, exhausted, and dragging a severely damaged leg.

The condition of her leg is devastating.

The leg is extremely inflamed, severely infected, and much of her paw is completely missing. We cannot begin to imagine the pain this poor dog has endured while trying to survive on her own.

Without hesitation, Wright-Way Rescue dispatched a rescue driver immediately to bring her to safety.

Today, “Maggie” arrived into our care.

Right now, our veterinary team is working urgently to stabilize her pain, fight the severe infection, and determine the next steps for surgery. Maggie will require extensive veterinary treatment, pain management, diagnostics, and likely surgical amputation in order to save her life and finally give her relief from unimaginable suffering.

But we cannot do this alone.

Emergency rescue cases like Maggie’s are emotionally heartbreaking — and financially overwhelming. Her care will be costly, but leaving her to suffer was never an option.

We are incredibly grateful to every amazing family who came out this holiday weekend to save a life. ❤️ There were so many of you, and we can’t thank you enough for making this weekend such a success.

We’re still counting the total number of lives saved, but one thing is clear—this was a very busy and very meaningful weekend. Every empty space created means another dog or cat waiting for rescue gets their chance this week.
