Some puppies leap into your arms. Marsha is the kind who quietly steals your heart. 🤎🐾

This sweet 4-month-old Spaniel mix was found wandering as a stray in Alabama, and while she's safe now, she's still learning that the world can be a kind and welcoming place.

Marsha can be a little shy when meeting new people and experiencing new situations, but beneath that cautious exterior is a gentle, loving puppy who just wants to feel safe and loved. With a little patience and understanding, her playful curiosity begins to shine through.

She's still discovering all the joys of being a puppy, from exploring new places to soaking up attention from people she trusts. What Marsha needs most is a family willing to give her the time and encouragement to build confidence and settle into life as a beloved companion.

These adorable puppies made the journey all the way from Huntsville, Alabama to Murphysboro, Illinois, and now they're ready to find the loving forever homes they've been waiting for.

After a long trip north, they're settling in, making new friends, and getting ready to meet their future families. Each puppy has their own unique personality, but they all share one thing in common: they're looking for someone to love.

🐾 Kitten Intake Update 🐾

Yesterday was another busy Ready-Set-Go intake day at Wright-Way Rescue!

Our team evaluated more than 50 kittens and was able to welcome 23 kittens into the program. Every intake day, our staff and veterinary team work hard to help as many qualified kittens as possible while ensuring each one receives the care and attention they deserve.

Because our program is limited by available foster homes, kennel space, and medical resources, admissions are accepted on a first come, first qualified basis until available spots are filled. Our goal is always to help as many cats and kittens as we can while maintaining the highest standard of care for every animal in the program.

If you plan to attend a future intake, please review the Ready-Set-Go requirements before arriving:

📅 Between 2 and 12 months old
⚖️ At least 2 pounds

👀🌭 Peek-a-boo... we see you, Sausage!

Sausage loves to play a silly, shy game of Peak-A-Boo! He is very excited to find his furever family who will entertain his adorable games. 🥳

Sausage is a 2-year-old Flat-Coated Retriever mix from Texas with a happy heart, an endlessly wagging tail, and enough charm to win over just about anyone he meets. Friendly, affectionate, and always ready for attention, he's the kind of dog who turns ordinary moments into fun ones.

Whether he's playing in the yard, going for a walk, or popping out to say hello from around the corner, Sausage is happiest when he's spending time with people. His easygoing personality and lovable nature make him a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loyal best friend.

The only thing Sausage is missing is a forever home to call his own. ❤️🐾

Nala is still available here at Wright-Way Rescue 🐾

We had some questions about her, we can confirm she is fine with other dogs! For those who haven't seen Nala yet, here is a bit about her!

Just like her namesake, Nala has a heart full of love. 🦁❤️

This sweet 6-year-old Beagle/German Shepherd mix is ready to start her next chapter with a family of her very own. Nala is the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much. A cozy spot to relax, a few pets, some quality time with her favorite people, and she's one happy girl.

With her gentle personality, loyal heart, and calm nature, Nala makes it easy to fall in love. She enjoys companionship, affection, and simply being near the people she cares about. After some unexpected changes in her life, she's hoping to find a forever home where she can settle in, feel secure, and be cherished the way she deserves.
