The purpose of our page is to help reunite pets with their owners and to educate the public about our role in the community, our policies, and general pet ownership. We recognize the fact that animals evoke deep emotions in many people, as they do us, but must ask that our posters refrain from judging others/posting negative comments when both sides of the situation are not known. In many
cases, we will not comment on the situations regarding particular animals. We are bound by confidentiality, laws, and our own ethics, in which we do not judge (as we often don’t have all the facts, especially with lost pets) and cannot dictate how an owner cares for their animals.
