All deer euros are headed into the maceration buckets. If you have talked to me and have euros still out there please get them here! One of my boys is “taking over” the euro side of things (I will still be helping him but he’s eager to do this). He’s got all the other prepped and ready to roll.

This deer has not had finish work done yet but I just couldn’t not post how this deer looks already from his previous state. Same song and dance as the other remount. Both are the original capes so somethings were unchangable.

This guy was to be “aggressive” but instead he looked sad and d***y as the client called him. I called him traumatized.

These two deer made me think to myself ummm what have you gotten yourself into? No way will I do this again (to be honest I probably will 🤪🤦🏼‍♀️). Can I just ditch these things? 😳 the list goes on trust me a lot of words were said to these two mounts!

These were quite the fight but I think they turned out pretty dang good. Clients are happy that’s what matters!

Couple remounts next
This is number 1 out of 2 the second one deserves his own post.

2021 deer that were finally mounted from another taxidermist this year. As soon as the owners received them they contacted me asking if I could fix them.
These deer had sew lines I could stick my fingers in and touch the form, antlers covered in paint, “lumps” under the hide (cape wasn’t fleshed or shaved properly), and just a whole lot of issues.

While this deer isn’t perfect he looks better and client was much happier.

To break up some of the shop hour postings. I’ll be posting some mounts. This girl was a headache for the owners and me. I had to heavily alter a form to get me to where I needed to be for a domestic Pygmy goat. Owners were extremely pleased with her!

Ok to all you that are out and about today during the snow storm trying to knock one down. Since it’s already been asked.

Yes I am in the shop today but if you don’t have to be out driving around don’t. I’ll be everyday coming up. If you are already in the area just holler. I’ll be here.

Currently NOT taking anymore fish until sometime December or maybe January depending on where I’m at with the ones I already have.

Happy Thanksgiving Day!

I am so thankful for all of my clients past, present, and future you all have been absolutely amazing! Congratulations to all that have brought in so far and good luck to those still out these next couple days! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Update

Tomorrow the 24th I will be here from 9:30AM-3 pm and 7pm-10pm due to a couple people wanting to drop off and fridge is filling up. So swing on in

FRIDAY the 28th
I will be closed until the afternoon and then it will be by appointment only for the rest of the day. We unfortunately have suffered a loss in our family and we will be attending her funeral.

Please get as close to the head as possible. I would rather there be to much cape than not enough but I do not want the whole neck on your deer. If you leave the whole neck it takes longer to thaw and it makes impossible to get it in my refrigerator.
