Duddy thinks a team meeting is just human language for cuddle time, and honestly, who are we to tell him otherwise? 🐾🤍

No matter what’s being discussed, Duddy is perfectly happy soaking up attention and cuddles from one of his favorite staff members. It’s a side of him we get to see every day: sweet, affectionate, and full of love.

Now we’re just waiting for someone else to see that side of Duddy and realize he deserves to be getting these cuddles in a home, not a shelter. 🏡🐾

Meet Bowie! 💙🐾

This handsome 5-year-old, 45-pound Catahoula mix is looking for his forever home! With one bright blue eye and one dark eye, Bowie is as striking as he is sweet.

Bowie came to us from another shelter after arriving there as a cruelty case. He was severely underweight, but he’s been steadily gaining weight and making great progress. While he still has some weight to gain, we’d love for the rest of his journey to happen in a home instead of a shelter kennel.

Despite everything he’s been through, Bowie has remained happy, affectionate, and full of life. He does great with dogs, cats, and kids, loves making friends, and is always ready to greet people with a wagging tail.

Our newest arrivals got a little spa day to help them get ready for their forever homes! 🛁🐾

These adorable 3 month old coonhound mix puppies are now looking and smelling their best which means they are ready to find families of their own! They’re full of puppy energy, love, and cuddles, and can’t wait to meet their future families.

Iris is a 1-year-old spayed Cane Corso who is completely up to date on vaccinations. She is a sweet, loving girl who loves people, enjoys playing, and does great with children.

Her owners believe Iris would do best as the only dog in the home. She has not done well with their smaller dog and appears to be territorial around other dogs. Because of this, she is looking for a home where she can be the center of attention and continue to thrive.

Iris will come with her crate, bed, bowls, and other supplies to help make her transition easier.

Get a look at that smile!❤️

Ivan always has a blast enjoying pool time while he waits for his forever family. This handsome boy is 85 pounds of love and happiness with a ginormous heart to match. He loves people, does great with kids, and loves having dog friends too!

Ivan’s only non-negotiable? No cats. According to him, cats are suspicious little creatures, and he’d prefer to keep them off his guest list🐱🚫

One of Lilac’s favorite volunteers stopped by to take her on a car ride and she couldn’t be happier!🐾

We love when our dogs get the chance to get off the property and enjoy a break from the kennel environment. While our staff loves taking them out too, there just aren’t enough hours in the day, which is why our volunteers mean so much to us and the animals.
