Dogs are not very good at Generalizing. What does this mean?

Have you ever asked your dog to 'Sit' somewhere other than your house and they act like a.) They can't hear you or b.) You are speaking a new, undiscovered language 🥴

A dog must be taught that 'Sit' means the same thing at home as it does away from home like at the Park, a Pet Store, the Lake, etc. 🏞

It's important to advance your training from a quiet environment to new places to ensure your dog understands the behavior rather than just the surroundings. 📚🐕‍🦺

Meet Taylor, Trainer Jessi's Dog sporting his infamous 'Derp Face' 🤣

At home, my humans sometimes call me ButtHead and I respond.

Between December and March I have been to Pinkerton 3 TIMES; Two for foreign body surgeries where a nerf ball was removed each time. Yum!😋🟠 And once for an acute bout of pancreatitis for eating too much manure/sheep placenta during lambing. Also yum! 🤣🤦‍♀️

When I am not ingesting forbidden fruits on the Widdel Farm, I am the biggest Momma's boy. Forget food motivated, I am MOM motivated. 😍🤓

I am Mom's right hand man when it comes to working sheep! We go together like nerf balls and afterbirth. 👫🫶
