Hold onto your hat and keep the dog inside, it is downright miserable out there! Our weather station at our studio on 31st Avenue says winds are currently blowing at 34 miles per hour with a peak gust of 39, but we think it is lying to us. It feels way worse than that, doesn't it?

There are a lot of warnings and advisories stemming from the high winds that are blowing through our area right now. It isn't just us. All of central and western North Dakota is suffering through this blasted wind.
Visibility in Minot is decreasing considerably due to a massive cloud of dust.
Critical fire weather conditions are expected today through
Friday over western and central North Dakota. West winds of 35 to 45 mph with gusts to 65 mph are expected over northwest North Dakota, with westerly winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 55 mph over remaining areas. Relative humidity values will drop as low as 15 percent. Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control, so exercise extreme caution and be aware of the high potential for wildfires.
Stay safe out there. Or better yet, just stay in and keep listening to The ZOO!
