Meet the Boppers: Betty Boop, Beep, and Bleep! 🐾 we are about 2 ½ months old.
We are available for adoption at PetSmart in Spokane Valley 💙❤️
From the darkness of a storage shed into the bright, beautiful world, these three resilient little miracles are officially looking for their forever homes! ✨
The Backstory 🏠
Their incredibly devoted mama cat, Bop, was living on the streets and looking for the ultimate safe haven for her babies. She found a padlocked shed—seemingly impenetrable—but she didn't let that stop her. This clever mama figured out that she could jump up onto a couple of logs and squeeze through a tiny opening at the very top of the padlocked door!
Inside that pitch-black sanctuary, she kept her three babies perfectly safe, warm, and hidden from the world. At about 6 weeks old, they were finally discovered and rescued. Before that moment, the kittens had never seen the full light of day or interacted with a single human being!
Amazing mama Bop is safe and still in P4P foster care. It is now time for her three babies to find their forever homes! 👑
Because the Boppers spent their early life entirely in hiding, they are learning that the big wide world—and human hands—can be filled with love, treats, and gentle chin scratches. They’ve come a massive way since their rescue and are blooming more every single day!
Meet the Trio! 🐱
• Betty Boop 🎀 – She is the perfect mix of shy and sassy! Miss Betty might hide at first, peeking up at you with her darling little pink nose, but once she feels comfortable, she is absolutely everywhere. She is a brave little explorer who is not afraid to climb and loves finding the perfect hidey holes all over the room. Watch out, though—once she's in position, she will pounce out, especially if a feather toy or string passes by!
• Beep 🚗 – This girl is Little Miss Social! For a kitten who started in the dark, she has completely embraced the spotlight. Beep absolutely loves chin and b***y scratches and is a total adventurer. She investigates everything and always wants to be right where the action is! Her favorite things include springs, feather toys, lasers, and playing blanket "hidey" games.
• Bleep 🍊 – Don't let the name fool you, this long-haired orange tabby boy is pure magic and comedy gold. He might first look at you with his blank little stare, but bring out the treats or toys and he is instantly your best friend! He is so sweet that he will even let you cuddle him upside down like a baby. His absolute favorite thing to do is hide under an upside-down laundry basket and scuttle around the floor like a live-action clamshell game! Look out for a cloud of orange fluff cruising across the room! He also loves plastic springs, the laser pointer, and pretty much anything that moves!
🏡 Adoption Requirements:
Since they started life with a bit of a social disadvantage, they rely heavily on the comfort of their own kind to build up their confidence. Because of this, their new home MUST have another friendly cat or kitten! They would love to be adopted in pairs together or go to a home that already has a resident feline companion to show them the ropes.
They also need:
• Patience & Time: They will need a quiet "safe room" to start out in while they adjust to the sights and sounds of their forever homes.
• Understanding: A family who celebrates the small victories—like winning over Bleep with a treat, watching him cruise around in his basket, or seeing Betty Boop or Beep make a brave pounce.
They cuties are ready to find the people who will promise to keep them safe, warm and loved for the rest of their lives—no padlocks required.
🐾The adoption fee for kittens under 6 months is $180 for one or $310 for two. This includes up to date on vaccines, deworming, sterilized (spay/neuter), microchip and a free vet check within two weeks of adoption.
🐾If you would like to apply to adopt, you can do so by completing an application in store and giving it to a volunteer or PetSmart cashier.
