WHY NOT ME WEDNESDAY
🍂🐾 This Fall, Ube Is Hoping for a Little Change of Scenery… and a Person to Call His Own! ❤️

While the leaves are changing and everyone is settling in for cozy fall days, Ube is still waiting for his season of change to begin. 🍁

At about 2 years old and 54 pounds, Ube is a handsome, short-and-sturdy sweetheart who would love to trade his rescue kennel for a cozy home and a human to call his very own.

He enjoys walks, yard time, and hanging out with his people. He's not destructive, isn't much of a barker, and knows some manners. He's got plenty of good qualities, and despite coming to the rescue as a stray, he still thinks humans are pretty wonderful. 🥰

Ube will need a special person. ❤️
He needs a home where he can be the only animal—no other dogs or cats. His ideal person will understand that some dogs simply shine brightest when they don't have to share their home with other four-legged friends.

In return, that special someone will get a loyal companion to enjoy autumn walks, lazy afternoons, and all the little moments that make having a dog so wonderful.

Ube doesn't need a perfect person or a perfect home. He just needs someone willing to see the wonderful dog he is and give him the chance he's been waiting for.
🍂 Could you be the person who finally makes Ube's wish come true?

Visit perrycountyanimalrescue.org, click the Adoptable Pets tab, or click the link below, and submit an adoption application. Once processed, we’ll arrange a meet and greet!

WHISKER WEDNESDAY
🍂🐾 Falling leaves, cozy blankets, and a certain handsome kitty who’s still waiting for his happily-ever-after! 🧡

Meet Binx! This sweet 2-year-old boy has a little wish this fall… to find a family who will love him forever. 🥹❤️

Binx started life as a bottle baby, grew up in a home, and was adopted. But through no fault of his own, he and his buddy Bowser found themselves back at the rescue. Now these two boys are trying to make sense of a world that’s suddenly changed.

Rescue life can be overwhelming when you’re used to the comforts of home. Binx may need a little time to feel safe again, but he’s a sweet boy who deserves the chance to settle in, find his confidence, and discover that his next home will be his forever home. 🏡💕

Imagine him curled up in a soft bed, watching the autumn leaves dance outside the window, with nowhere he needs to be and no worries about what comes next. Sounds pretty wonderful, doesn’t it? 🍁🐈

Binx is neutered, microchipped, SNAP tested, and up to date on vaccines. His buddy Bowser is also available for adoption!

🍂 This fall, you could give Binx the greatest gift of all—a home of his own.

Ready to meet him? Visit www.perrycountyanimalrescue.org, or click the link below, and complete an adoption application. Once processed, we’ll arrange a meet and greet.

🍂🐾 FALLing in Love with Oboe Is Easier Than FALLing Leaves! 🐾🍂

All this little guy needs is a cozy home, a warm lap, and someone to love him for the rest of his days! ❤️

Meet Oboe, our adorable 6-pound puff ball who somehow found himself wandering as a stray near the State Game Lands. 😢 At his tiny size, the great outdoors was no place for this little gentleman! Thankfully, he’s safe now, and he’s ready to trade shelter life for the comfort of a forever home.

🍁 A little about Oboe:
🐾 Approximately 9 years old
🐾 A whopping 6 pounds of fluff and sweetness!
🐾 Super chill and easygoing
🐾 Gets along with the other dogs in his foster home
🐾 Not much of a barker
🐾 Working on his potty-training skills
🐾 A future champion snuggle buddy and lap warmer!

Oboe recently had a grooming appointment, and the groomer said he was a very good little man! 🛁 His beautiful fluffy coat will need regular care, with professional grooming about every other month unless you’re ready to brush him daily.

This little senior sweetheart doesn’t need fancy things. Just a loving person, a comfy place to nap, and a family who will never let him feel lost or alone again. 🥹❤️

🍂 Could Oboe be the missing piece of your cozy fall days? Imagine him curled up beside you while the leaves fall outside and the chilly evenings call for blankets and cuddles!

🏡 Ready to make this little puff ball part of your family?

Visit perrycountyanimalrescue.org, click the Adoptable Pets tab, or click the link below, and submit an adoption application. Once processed, we’ll arrange a meet and greet!

Meet Bowser! This sweet 2-year-old boy has a heart full of love and a story that deserves a happy ending.

Bowser started life as a tiny bottle baby, grew up in a home, and was adopted. He knew the comfort of family life and thought he had found his happily ever after. Sadly, through no fault of his own, he and his buddy Binx found themselves back at the rescue.

Now these two sweet boys are trying to make sense of a world they never expected to be in. 💔 Rescue life is a big adjustment when you’ve already known what it’s like to have a home.

Bowser doesn’t need a pile of autumn leaves or a fancy pumpkin patch. 🎃 He just needs a cozy spot to curl up, a family to love him, and the reassurance that he’s finally home to stay!

Could you be the person who turns Bowser’s next chapter into his happily ever after? ❤️ His buddy Binx is also available for adoption!

MEOW MONDAY
🍂🐾 All Butters Wants This Fall Is a Place to Call Home! 🧡

Pumpkin spice? No thanks! Butters would much rather have a side of treats, a cozy place to nap, and a human who thinks his handsome little face is absolutely irresistible! 🎃😻

This older gentleman has been through a lot in his life on the streets. His scarred ear and once-broken nose give him the look of a tiny prize fighter, but these days, he’s ready to hang up his gloves and enjoy the softer side of life. ❤️

Butters loves treats and gentle pets, and he’s learning that life indoors can be pretty wonderful! He isn’t a fan of being picked up, but he’s happy to enjoy affection on his own terms. A peaceful home where he can settle in at his own pace would be just his cup of c***r. 🍎

He’s still deciding how he feels about other cats, so a home where he can be the king of his own castle might be his perfect match! 👑

🍁 Butters is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and SNAP tested.

As the leaves fall and another season passes, this sweet boy is still waiting for his person. He doesn’t need a perfect home or a fancy life. Just a warm place to rest, a kind heart to love him, and someone who will never let him face the world alone again.

Could you be the one to give Butters his happily-ever-after? 🧡🏡

Visit perrycountyanimalrescue.org, click on Adoptable Pets, or click the link below, and submit an adoption application. Once processed, we’ll be in touch to arrange a meet-and-greet.

SUNDAY SPOTLIGHT
🍂🥜 A LITTLE PEANUT BUTTER FOR YOUR AUTUMN? 🥜🍂

Cooler days, cozy naps, yummy treats, and a soft place to land. Sounds like the perfect fall for Butters! ❤️🐾

Peanut Butter, aka Butters, is a handsome senior gentleman, around 9–11 years old and 30 lbs, who is ready to find a home of his own.

He’s a laid-back fellow who enjoys affection, snoozing, and keeping track of the dinner schedule. (Trust us, he NEVER forgets mealtime! 😂)

🐱 Good with cats
🐕 Good with female dogs
🚫 No male dogs, please!
🥰 Professional napper and treat enthusiast

Butters has some age-related changes, arthritis, and a slow-growing tumor that requires consideration. He’s also working on losing a few pounds and will need regular grooming for his fluffy coat.

This sweet older guy doesn’t need fancy adventures. He just needs someone willing to give him comfort, patience, and a loving place to spend his golden years. 🍁🏡

Could you make this fall the beginning of Butters’ happily-ever-after? ❤️

SUNDAY SPOTLIGHT
🍂🐾 Fall is in the air, and Lake has a little wish of her own! 🎃💕
Forget the pumpkin spice! Lake is dreaming of forever-home spice… a cozy place to call her own, a human to love, and plenty of snuggle time as the leaves start to fall. 🧡🍁

This sweet tabby girl loves to explore and investigate her surroundings. But if her adventures take her a little too far from her favorite people, she'll call out for them and come running as soon as she hears their voice.
Apparently, even a girl with places to go and things to sniff needs to keep her cuddle appointments! 😹💗

Lake is currently enjoying life in a foster home. She's litter trained, up to date on vaccines, and snap tested.

All she's missing is a family to share those cozy autumn evenings with. Imagine the purrs, the cuddles, and a furry friend keeping you company while you enjoy your favorite fall movie! 🍂🐱

🏡 Let's make this the season Lake finally falls into her forever home!
Could that home be yours? 💕

SATURDAY SHOUTOUT
🍎Meet C***r! The Littlest Leaf-Spinning, Treat-Loving Dervish! 🍂

Some girls chase squirrels, some chase balls… and C***r? She spins! 😂💃

This adorable little whirlwind weighs a whopping 7 pounds and is approximately 2½ years old. We were told she’s a Patterdale Terrier, though she might have a little Min Pin in her family tree, too. Whatever her mix, one thing is certain: this girl is full of personality!

❤️ A little about C***r:
🍁 Surrendered through no fault of her own when her owner experienced medical issues and could no longer care for her.
🐾 Does well with dogs of various ages, sizes, and both sexes.
🐱 OK with cats, though she’s curious and may pester them a bit. She isn’t trying to hurt them!
👧 Good with respectful children.
🥰 Loves lap time, cuddles, and simply hanging out with her people. Watching TV or reading a book? She’s happy to be your tiny sidekick!
🤫 Not much of a barker, although she may join in when playing with her foster dog friends or give an occasional alert bark.
🚶‍♀️ Enjoys walks and is learning her leash manners.

Now, about that spinning! When C***r gets excited about treats or dinner, she twirls in increasingly tiny, speedy circles. The more excited she gets, the faster she goes! 💫 Her vet has confirmed this quirky behavior is not neurological, and she walks perfectly fine.

And her version of “sit”? She spins, then pops up on her back feet like a tiny circus performer waiting for her reward! 🎪😂

C***r is a little bundle of love, laughter, and spinning silliness. She may be tiny, but she has enough personality to fill a whole pumpkin patch! 🎃❤️

🍂 Could C***r be the missing piece of your fall? 🍂

If this little dervish sounds like your kind of girl, please visit perrycountyanimalrescue.org, or click the link below, and complete an adoption application. Once it has been processed, a meet and greet can be arranged.

Let’s find this little whirlwind a forever lap to call her own! 🧡🐾
