Artificial turf can get painfully hot fast ☀️ A few things I’d think about:
🐾 Test the surface with your hand before pets walk on it.
👟 If it’s too hot for bare feet, it’s too hot for paws and kids.
🌿 Real grass, clover, and planted areas usually stay much cooler.
💧 Rinsing may cool turf briefly, but it heats back up quickly.
🏡 Even adding shade or planted borders can make a yard more usable.
Low maintenance sounds great, but a yard still needs to be comfortable enough to actually use.
