Adopt Darcus, a beautiful working-line German Shepherd, 6½ years old (DOB 1/1/20), and she is everything a working-line shepherd should be — athletic, strong, intelligent, energetic, and driven.

She loves to play ball, enjoys having daily activity, and bonds quickly with her person. She’s not an over-the-top high-energy dog, but she definitely enjoys having a job and something to do.

Darcus is a retired breeding female who has spent most of her life in a kennel environment. Because of that, she will need some time, patience, and understanding as she adjusts to life in a home. She would do best in a home where she is the only pet. She can be shy with men at first and may freeze when she’s unsure, but she has never been aggressive. With time, she is sweet, engaging, and eager to connect with her person.

She is also obsessed with car rides and absolutely loves her crate! 🚗❤️

Darcus is fully vetted, healthy, has had her hips and elbows evaluated through OFA, and has a clear Embark genetic health panel.

She’s looking for someone who understands German Shepherds and will give her the time to decompress, acclimate, and discover how wonderful life outside a kennel can be. We think she has the potential to be an amazing companion for the right person. 🖤🐾

Darcus is currently in NJ but transportation to the right home is available. Darcus’s trainer (worked with her after rescue from breeder) is in Florida and she could also be transported back to Florida for the right home.

We are heartbroken that MIRACLE didn't have her Miracle here on earth. She passed away this morning. But we hope she is in heaven living a different type of miracle with all the other wonderful animals that have passed. Rest in Peace sweet Miracle and know that you were so loved, by us and, especially by your hospice home. Patty and Glenn gave her everything for her last months. Truly loving special people and friends.
MIRACLE needs a MIRACLE. CAT LOVERS PLEASE GIVE HER YOUR ATTENTION.
She is the sweetest senior cat on the planet. Rescued by our rescue friend in Delaware County, PA. MIRACLE is blind and deaf but doing well in her foster home. She has the most striking green eyes. She is navigating her surroundings. Foster Mom regularly opens the door so she can smell the outdoors, even though she can't see or hear it. Our foster Mom is not able to keep MIRACLE. So, we need a forever home until it is her time. She is approximately 11 years old, UTD on shots. Bee is a 2 year old female German Shepherd looking for a home. Her date of birth is 1/10/24. Bee is located in Delaware.

The BEST girl — Bee is living in a foster home with other dogs and cats, and gets along with everyone beautifully.

Ready for home life — She is housebroken and crate trained.

❤️ SMITTY IS STILL WAITING… AND WE CAN’T FIGURE OUT WHY. ❤️

Seriously, friends… HOW has this amazing boy had NO interest?

Meet Smitty — a 70-pound, handsome, goofy, affectionate “land hippo” who is currently stuck in boarding while he waits for someone to finally realize what a GREAT DOG he is. 💔

Smitty has already been through more than any dog should have to endure. He was abandoned at a hospital, skinny and weak, and was later diagnosed with a severe bowel obstruction. He needed emergency surgery, and incredibly, they discovered he had eaten an entire dishtowel — likely out of desperation.

Thanks to an amazing medical team and his wonderful fosters, Smitty made a full recovery. Today, he is healthy, happy, and ready for the next chapter of his life. ❤️🐾

And THIS is what we want people to know about Smitty:

💙 He is AFFECTIONATE and loves his people.
🐶 He is DOG FRIENDLY and would love a furry friend.
👦 He is KID FRIENDLY — older kids (12+) are recommended because this big guy can get pretty enthusiastic!
🏡 He is HOUSE TRAINED AND CRATE TRAINED.
🧠 He is SMART, FOOD-MOTIVATED, and TRAINABLE and has already learned commands and good manners.
🚗 He LOVES car rides, walks, playtime, and pretty much anything that involves being with his people.
😴 He is also perfectly happy to spend part of the day snoozing — preferably somewhere soft and comfortable. 😂
❤️ And according to the people who know him best, this boy doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.

Smitty is the kind of dog who will follow you around the house like your 70-pound shadow. He wants to be where you are. He wants to be part of your life. And in return for some companionship, a soft bed, continued training, and a little patience, he will give you all the love he has.

He does need a family willing to continue working with him on his excitement and leash reactivity, and he needs a home without cats. A home with a yard and another dog would be wonderful, but with the right family, Smitty could settle into many different types of homes. 🏡

So here’s our plea:

PLEASE don’t let Smitty be the dog everyone scrolls past.

He has already spent enough time waiting.

He survived being abandoned.
He survived a major medical emergency.
He fought his way back to health.
He learned. He healed. He became the goofy, loving, happy dog he is today.

Now he just needs someone to choose him. ❤️

SWEETEST GIRL LOTTIE IS STILL SEARCHING FOR HER FOREVER HOME Media PA area

She was the last dog left when a shelter closed for renovations 😭😭😭 We had to rescue her.
Please share for this gentle quiet girl!

Lottie is a very sweet and loving female Australian Cattle dog, Lottie is 44 lbs, up to date on vaccines, spayed and on heartworm preventative.

Lottie is crate trained, her crate is her safe place, she is no longer put in her crate I just put her in the bedroom when I leave the house with her crate door open, she doesn't bother anything. Lottie has full run of the house when I'm home which is most of the day. Lottie is housebroken she uses the doggy door to go out and do her business (doggy door access only when someone is home). Lottie loves people and is the first to greet them along our walks, Lottie's bio from the shelter said she didn't walk on a leash but she is now doing fine, still a little unsure of herself but is no longer trying to crawl under objects, she just needed to feel safe and comfortable with her person. Lottie is a good dog but feel she would do best in a quiet home with no kids.

Lottie does need time to warm up to new dogs, she is in a house with 4 other dogs, and it took a couple days for her to feel safe; she now plays with her foster brother and sister (other two are seniors).

Lottie is very smart; she is a couch potato and loves to cuddle; she likes to chase a ball but hasn't learned to bring it back, she likes toys and nyla bones and is very treat motivated.

Lottie will need a 6 ft fenced in yard as she's still scared and that makes her a flight risk, she does like to use the bathroom in private so she may not go on a leash, so the yard helps her feel comfortable.
