🐾❤️ BTW, it’s Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week! ❤️🐾

Behind every wagging tail and successful surgery recovery is a team of compassionate people who go above and beyond for the animals in our care. This week (and every day, really!), we’re celebrating our incredible veterinary technicians!

From providing essential medical care and monitoring both shelter and community patients to offering comfort to scared animals, our vet techs show up every day with skill, dedication, and so much heart. They are advocates, healers, and sometimes the very first people to make an animal feel safe and loved. 🩺🐶🐱

Their work isn’t always easy, and much of it happens behind the scenes, but the impact they make is immeasurable.

To our amazing vet techs: Thank you for being the heart behind the healing. We are so grateful for everything you do for the animals who depend on us!

Help us celebrate our vet techs this week! Drop a ❤️ in the comments to show these incredible animal-care professionals some love.

PS - We're currently looking for a vet tech to join our team, among other medical lifesavers. Check out https://providenceac.org/who-we-are/careers/.

Happy !

Subaru of America, Inc. established National Make A Dog’s Day. Today is a day where everyone is encouraged to do something special for a dog in need.

We invite you to donate to the Cecily Tynan Adoption Fund, a fund that will sponsor the adoption fees of our dogs who will be appearing at Bark in the Park, this Saturday! And for the next 48 hours, every donation made will be matched by a generous donor!

Cecily Tynan is a huge animal lover, passionate advocate, and longtime friend of PAC. Her love for animals and commitment to helping pets find families have made such an impact on our lifesaving over the years. Now, you can help celebrate Cecily’s incredible legacy by donating to the Cecily Tynan Adoption Fund: https://bit.ly/4elAfGe

Stop by Bark in the Park to meet Cecily and the adoptables who will have their fees sponsored in her honor - thanks to you.
