Pretty sure these 2 guinea pig that we took in are pregnant.
That orange one is HUGE and both their ni***es are quite enlarged.

These 2 guinea pigs will probably have 3 or 4 babies each. Which means by next month we will have possibly 10 guinea pigs. We don't even have enough cages to house that many.
Guinea pig adopters and fosters may be needed soon.

We will know for sure soon enough.

Our little chinchilla was just adopted to a family that helps out at DISD's JL Long Middle School's Zoo Crew.
Long MS has a huge room full of cages and tanks. Kids care for the animals before and after school. They clean cages, socialize and play with the animals, and during breaks, kids can take the animals home. The Zoo Crew has snakes, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, and a pair of Chinchillas.
The family that adopted our chinchilla had previously fostered the Zoo crew chinchillas and fell in love with them.
We are so happy that our little guy will go to a home with so much experience caring for exotics.

Larry was adopted by a wonderful couple today. They met while they were in the Air Force and have been together for over 40 years. We are so glad that Larry will be part of their home and bring some joy to their lives.

FOSTERS NEEDED! Please help 🆘️

We are not a santuary but this year we are overwhelmed with animals that have very low chances of adoptions due to medical issues, age, and/or behavior.
And while any of our pets available for adoption can also use a short term foster until they are placed, we also need fosters for our long stay pets. We will provide fosters with food and any medication and pay for any vet visit.

We are beyond maximum capacity and need your help.

Correction: we were wrong. Its not a girl. So his new name is Boy George ♂️🤪

Despite being completely full, we took in this cat after a neighbor stopped by with her in a carrier. I guess she was found by a park. She is young, maybe 4-6 months. She is obviously freaked out right now but allows for petting. Definitely not fully feral.
We are calling her Bananarama. Seemed like a good end of summer name.

Larry is looking for his forever home. He will be 1 year old next week. He weighs 13lbs. He is a chihuahua mix. Originally came from the homeless brother's that we helped. His mama was a 10lb chihuahua, but he looks like his papa, a chi mix who was around 20lbs. However since Larry is a year he will not grow any bigger.

He is microchiped, vaccinated, and neutered.

Larry is a happy boy full of energy. He needs to go to an active family that wants a dog to play with. Larry loves to run and jump and he gets the zoomies.

He is great with other dogs. Not a fan of cats, but is fostered with one. He is very food motivated and loves to snuggle. He does use a crate but he will bark in the crate. He is great with kids, but does mouth play. He knows some Spanish words because his first adopted family spoke Spanish. He was returned only after the family had some housing issues.

He is such a happy pup we hope to find him a forever home soon.
