Collin County Animal Services shelters all lost/stray pets from Frisco and McKinney. Each of these cities provide their own animal control services. Please contact them directly for animal control service information and requests. Collin County Animal Services performs all animal control duties as well as sheltering all lost/stray pets from all unincorporated areas of Collin County, and the cities of Anna, Celina, Fairview, Farmersville, Lavon, Lucas, Melissa, Nevada, Princeton, Prosper and Weston. All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip, and age appropriate vaccinations! Adoption Fees:
Puppies/Kittens 6 months and under = $50
Dogs/Cats over 6 months = $25

🐾❤️ FOSTER FRIDAY SPOTLIGHT: MEET PAUL! ❤️🐾

Sometimes the dogs who need the most love are the ones who are still learning how to ask for it. 💔

Meet Paul (61577380), a handsome 2-year-old boy weighing 48 pounds, with a heart that's slowly learning it's okay to trust.

Paul is currently in a loving foster home, where he's getting the chance to experience what life outside the shelter can be like. And while he's safe and cared for, there's still one thing missing… a forever family to call his own. ❤️

Paul can be a little timid at first, but here's the beautiful part… he's starting to come out of his shell! 🥹

He's discovering that gentle hands mean affection, that treats are pretty amazing, and most importantly, that people can be kind. Every little moment of trust is a big step for this sweet boy.

Paul doesn't need a perfect family. He just needs a patient one. Someone who will give him time to feel comfortable, celebrate his little victories, and show him that love isn't something he has to be afraid of.

His foster home is helping him learn what it means to feel safe. Now he just needs someone to show him what it means to be HOME FOREVER.

🐾 Buffy’s Doggie Day Out! 🐾

Sometimes the bravest thing a shelter dog can do is step outside their comfort zone. ❤️

Sweet Buffy got a much-needed break from shelter life and spent her day exploring the neighborhood, visiting the park, and enjoying a little fresh air.

Buffy is a more independent girl who needs a little time to feel comfortable with new people and surroundings. New noises can make her nervous, and she isn't quite sure about all the attention just yet. But that's okay! 🥹💕

Her DDO buddy discovered that Buffy walks beautifully on a loose leash, and her favorite part of the day was finding a shady spot to curl up and rest. 🌳😴

Buffy needs someone willing to give her time. ❤️
And maybe, with a little patience and a whole lot of love, that shy girl will finally feel safe enough to let her guard down.

🐾 Sprite’s Doggie Day Out! 🐾

Sometimes all a shelter dog needs is a soft place to sleep, a little love, and a chance to just BE. ❤️🥹

Sprite, our sweet 1-year-old Pittie mix, had the most wonderful Doggie Day Out, and she showed everyone what an absolute sweetheart she is!

Her day was filled with adventures! 🐾 She went to Petco, picked out some toys, and made a few fishy friends. 🐠 She stopped at Starbucks for a pup cup, took some neighborhood walks where she greeted everyone with a wagging tail and wonderful manners, and even helped decorate for Halloween! 🎃

But the sweetest part of her day? Doing absolutely NOTHING. ❤️

Her DDO family thought this young girl would want to spend her time playing with toys, but Sprite had other plans. They made her a cozy pallet on the floor, turned on Bluey, and let her enjoy a couple of hours of peaceful sleep. 😴💕

No barking kennels. No shelter noise. Just a comfy spot, a little TV, and the feeling of being home.

Sprite was described as sweet, loving, and beautifully behaved, both out in public and inside the home.

And that's what makes these outings so special. Sometimes we discover that what a dog wants most isn't another adventure. It's simply a place where they can finally relax.

Sprite got a few hours of what every shelter dog dreams of. Now she just needs someone to make it FOREVER. 🏡❤️

🐾❤️ A HAPPY ENDING FOR LAFFY TAFFY! ❤️🐾

Remember the heartbreaking story we shared a few weeks ago about a momma cat and her 5 kittens who were left at our front door in the middle of the night? 💔

What started as a heartbreaking situation has turned into something beautiful. ❤️

After searching, we finally found momma, Laffy Taffy, and her 5th baby hiding on the property. Thankfully, everyone was safe!

Because Laffy Taffy wasn't producing enough milk to feed her babies, all 5 kittens were placed with an amazing foster who stepped up to bottle-feed them and give them the love and care they needed. 🍼🐱

And now for the BEST part of this story...

💕 Our sweet 5-year-old Laffy Taffy has found her FOREVER HOME! 💕

After everything she's been through, this momma finally gets to be someone's baby. No more worrying about keeping her kittens safe. No more uncertainty about where she'll sleep. Just a warm home, a loving family, and a lifetime of being spoiled.

And the sweetest part? We think Laffy Taffy picked her family just as much as they picked her! 🥹❤️

Her babies are safe and being loved in foster care, and now this deserving momma gets her very own happily ever after.

Sometimes the stories that start out the saddest have the most beautiful endings.

Thank you to our incredible foster for giving her kittens a fighting chance, and to Laffy Taffy's new family for giving this sweet momma the life she deserves.

Happy tails, Laffy Taffy! You've done your job as a momma. Now it's your turn to be loved. 🐾❤️

🐾 Casper’s Doggie Day Out! 🐾

Who needs expensive toys when you can find the PERFECT stick?! 😂🐶

Casper, a 1-year-old Pittie mix, had quite the adventure on his Doggie Day Out! ❤️

First stop was Home Depot for a little shopping, followed by a trip to the pet store, where Casper made some new fishy friends! 🐠🐾

Then it was off to the park, where Casper discovered that the BEST toy in the whole world wasn't something from the pet store... it was a STICK! 😂🪵

Sometimes it's the little things that make a dog's day, and Casper was just happy to be out exploring and enjoying life outside the shelter.

At just 1 year old, Casper has so many adventures ahead of him. But what he really needs is someone to share them with. Someone to take him on walks, laugh at his silly antics, and let him bring home all the sticks his little heart desires. ❤️

Casper's next adventure should be finding his FOREVER HOME! 🏡🐾

Some diamonds just need a little extra time to shine. ❤️

Meet Granite, a 4-year-old Rottweiler mix who has been waiting at Collin County Animal Services since August💔

Granite isn't the kind of dog who demands your attention the second you walk by. He's a little timid at first, and sometimes that means people walk right past him without realizing what a special boy he truly is.

But give him a little patience, a few yummy treats, and a chance to feel comfortable, and you'll start to see the real Granite. 🥹❤️

Behind that shy exterior is a sweet, playful boy who LOVES toys, treats, and having fun! He's an active guy who would love a family to share adventures with. He's even learned how to SIT! 🐾

Granite would do best in a home without cats, but what he really needs is someone willing to look past his initial shyness and give him the chance he deserves.

Granite doesn't need to be the first dog you notice. He just needs to be the one you don't forget. 💔

He's spent nearly two months waiting for someone to see the gem we see every day. Maybe that someone is YOU. ❤️

Remember Petey?! Well, this sweet boy is living his BEST LIFE! 🥹💕

Petey was adopted from foster care at the beginning of September, and it's safe to say he hit the jackpot! ❤️

His days are now filled with endless love, attention, playtime, and all the happiness a dog could ask for! His family absolutely adores him, and apparently, one happy pup just isn't enough!

In fact, Petey's parents love him SO much that they're now looking to adopt him a furry sibling who can keep up with his energy and become his new best friend!

From a foster home to a forever home, and now possibly a new four-legged sibling… Petey's story just keeps getting better! 🥰
